I loooove collard greens! I have to see if they’ll do well here. I didn’t know swiss chard was a perennial, we have a few plants in the ground still that has survived all the heatwaves. We haven’t started our fall planting quite yet (we’re so behind XD our chickens are starting to lay!) but we’ll probably take advantage of the cooler weather to get some planting done. HI THERE! zone 8a here! thanks for the vid. I heard you say epsom salt for this area. Im assuming because this area has alot of clay interference in soil? :] we bought our first house so im about to transform our new backyard into a food forest hehe
True story my first time planting I was so excited and went to Home Depot bought a bunch of starter veggies and planted them. I got carrots that were the craziest and saddest things I have ever seen and all the rest were mislabeled and I ended up with a ton of cucumbers š¤¦āāļø Haven’t tried since but after seeing your tips I may try!
