I loooove collard greens! I have to see if they’ll do well here. I didn’t know swiss chard was a perennial, we have a few plants in the ground still that has survived all the heatwaves. We haven’t started our fall planting quite yet (we’re so behind XD our chickens are starting to lay!) but we’ll probably take advantage of the cooler weather to get some planting done. Take care, hope your garden does well!!

Did you say the name of the garlic you planted? If you did I missed it. Glad you said kale is a two year plant. You would not believe how many people pull them up before they are done.

True story my first time planting I was so excited and went to Home Depot bought a bunch of starter veggies and planted them. I got carrots that were the craziest and saddest things I have ever seen and all the rest were mislabeled and I ended up with a ton of cucumbers šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø Haven’t tried since but after seeing your tips I may try!
