What I'm Planting This Year | Zone 7 Gardening

Spring is right around the corner! It’s time to get some seeds in the ground. This year I’m trying to save money by planting up seeds I already have. I’ll be doing a combination of raised bed and container gardening.

Below I’ve linked some information on how to find out your gardening zone and last frost date. For more gardening videos check out my In The Garden playlist https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTm8cl2BQ3XvkH8KbvFUb-gaR8tAR6ws6

So happy I found your channel! I’m in zone 7b (NYC) and I just started my peppers, tomatoes, basil and melons yesterday because the seeds took forever to get delivered. Is it too late? Any tips or tricks to get them out in time?
Also, is it too late to sow peas?

So, did you sow the seeds already? I started the stagger on my radish seeds. Just about ready to start some squash seeds (zone 7b) as in tomorrow or Saturday. Good luck with the garden this spring! We’ll be following along. ~~jules

We live in Raleigh and I think we are zone 7B. We are trying squash, zucchini, peppers, tomatoes and leafy lettuce. Fingers crossed and praying…

Have you started any seeds? Waiting for a video. I can’t find a zone 7 gardening YouTube channel. I started seeds indoors but I’m waiting to see what I can sow outside now that it’s almost April. This is my first vegetable garden.

I’m in zone 7 also.. I have 4 big raised beds. Try to used worm casting. While growing in your containers also use brown bark around your plant to keep your soil most and your plant happy 😀👍 happy gardening

I’m zone 7 A. I’m near Hermiston, Or. Do you think if I start peppers now indoors I will get some good plants for summer.
