Apparently, now they’re sending unsolicited seeds for free! What a bargain!

Blue watermelon is real but it’s not that bright and ultra-rare

  3. Evie Villa88 on August 29, 2021 at 12:42 am

I am SOOOOO HAPPY I watched this video!!! I Literally just filled a cart with $248 worth of seeds from USA Garden center (or something like that) for next years garden, with rainbow colored everything’s and well let’s just say there went 2 hours of my life I will never get back. Ughhhh How dumb am I that I honestly almost fell for that scam!?!? I guess like he said I just wanted to have the most beautiful garden filled with all sorts of New and Interesting plants. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU MIgardener for The reality slap!

  4. Nick on August 29, 2021 at 12:43 am

The worst part is these sellers make it difficult for people actually buying seeds online. I’ve purchased cucumber seeds from China on EBay that actually did grow properly.

  5. Marie Guy on August 29, 2021 at 12:44 am

Lol I sent for those roses few yrs back.. NOTHING LoL

  6. T on August 29, 2021 at 12:46 am

We bought pepper seeds this year from Sandia. NONE of the 5 varieties we ordered were the ones that we got. At least they were peppers. Even with internet searching, we cannot identify the peppers that we are actually getting from the plants that are growing from those seeds. Maybe they are actually cross-pollinated, unnamed varieties.????

I am not sure why so many people are up in arms about this video. As he stated in the title “…Buyer Beware.” Was there a better more tactful way he could have worded things, sure, but after watching the video – I can honestly say that I don’t think he meant ALL sellers using Ebay or Amazon. What I saw/heard was a passionate gardener, deeply angered and frustrated by the fact that there are individuals using these reputable vendors to scam gardeners.

“I hope I drove this point home; you guys need to be really really careful.” Do your research. Be informed. There is some shady garbage going on. You have to be really careful these days. GO TO A PLACE YOU TRUST. “I just can’t stand the stuff that’s going on, the lack of respect for beginning gardeners….” (His words)

Over and over he says go to someone/somewhere/anywhere you trust and be mindful.

How has the shipping price (subsidised by the Chinese government by the way) got ANYTHING to do with the quality of the actual product?

Seeds selling real or not have similarity to church. 😭😂

  14. Nelson Armor on August 29, 2021 at 12:53 am

I bought seeds off Amazon during the covid lockdown. 3 MONTHS LATER, they arrived from China in those suspicious grey plastic pouches. I have sent them all to Georgia Dept of Agriculture for testing.

  15. Jeneca Laplant on August 29, 2021 at 12:55 am

    Its pepper

  16. Lisseth Montenegro on August 29, 2021 at 12:57 am

Mlgardener shipping is free and fast delivery, how ever I think theire to expensive now!!!!! $2 dollars? for $.99 cents it was a great deal but now $2.00 dollars I’m not happy with them at all, theire barely barely put seeds in the packages!!!!! like on the Cuca melons there was like 8 seeds for 2.00 dollars!!!! I just hope they germinate, I get mines last year at Sprouts for $2.49 and got like 25 seeds I buy the pear tomato and it was a joke it was like 8 seeds and they’re were so tiny I’m been buying so many seeds from this company and they don’t germinate most of what I order from them!!!!! this is the last time I order from you, for one dollar for the ones I buy before it dint heart to pay a dollar even if they don’t germinate but now paying two dollars it really heart when you get no lock on germinating theire seeds, is like throwing your money in the drain!!!!! if the ones I just order on April 26 They don’t germinate any I’m make shore I give you a bad reviews cause I get the cilantro don’t germinate, parsley don’t germinate and it was like 8 little seeds I’m glad I pay only 99cents but most of what I get from you guys not good. 🥲😪😥😢😭😭😭

  17. Alicia Milam on August 29, 2021 at 12:58 am

  18. Albert Billman on August 29, 2021 at 12:59 am

Watching this in 2020. Stay gold

  19. Kent on August 29, 2021 at 12:59 am

It really is kind of hilarious that so many people are willing to leave 5 star reviews just for receiving a packet of seeds. If you go on Etsy looking for seeds you’ll see review after review saying something along the lines of “just received the seeds, can’t wait to grow them” and it will be 5 stars. Why not wait to review them until they’ve actually grown and you find out if they’re legitimate or not?

  20. Nowhere Man on August 29, 2021 at 1:02 am

Your rant is obnoxious. Plant the seeds. See what they are.

  21. Cheryl Gentillon on August 29, 2021 at 1:05 am

Wow, I just got the blue and white strawberries and the pink and blue rose, thank you for the video! Was trying to learn if they were real!

  22. David on August 29, 2021 at 1:05 am

  23. Cornwallis Trufflebudder on August 29, 2021 at 1:06 am

  25. Adam on August 29, 2021 at 1:08 am

ill let u know about the blue and purple strawberries i bought them to my daughter wanted them

  26. Candace MacPherson on August 29, 2021 at 1:08 am

Hi Luke, I’m a new gardener and have been watching you for almost a year. I wanted lovage seeds and received a package from Amazon. They look like poppy seeds and not what the seeds look like on Youtube videos. I bought them because I could not find lovage seeds locally. I am going to keep looking since now I’m nervous what these seeds actually are.

  27. Andy R on August 29, 2021 at 1:08 am

They look like cannabis seeds. Are you sure you didn’t buy a strain of weed called ‘Strawberry Blue’?…………….

  28. Steven Thyng on August 29, 2021 at 1:09 am

Whoa, there, seed magnate! You sure can buy quality seeds from Amazon. Sun Gold, for example, which is often out of stock from ‘regular’ seed suppliers, can be found on Amazon. Many others, also. You can check as to where the seeds come from before you buy. I agree don’t buy Chinese seeds, but many are offered by American seed companies or individuals that are fine.

  29. Noelle Parris on August 29, 2021 at 1:09 am

The fury, the feeling Luke displayed here…felt that.

  30. Gabriel on August 29, 2021 at 1:09 am

DO NOT BUY WASABI SEEDS ON AMAZON OR EBAY!
100% of them are fake seeds.

  31. OllieR on August 29, 2021 at 1:11 am

But what about when you didn’t buy them

  32. Rivit Raven on August 29, 2021 at 1:15 am

I’m curious what it actually is though. Grow it?

  33. Cindy Skillman on August 29, 2021 at 1:17 am

I got seeds from China in 2019 but the box was labeled "sweet pea earrings". I hadn’t ordered anything. 😳🤷‍♀️😳 We boxed them back up and threw them in the trash. I thought later we should have baked them to kill them, but I doubt they could sprout. They were in a little cardboard jewelry box—pretty thick. Something invasive, I’ll bet.

  34. Marie Guy on August 29, 2021 at 1:18 am

That company that sells those is from China!!!!

  35. Renodevon on August 29, 2021 at 1:18 am

So glad I watched this. I didn’t realize that you had a web site that I can order seeds! Can’t wait!! Hope you are enjoying your garden!

  36. Alan Garduno on August 29, 2021 at 1:20 am

Bro theres scumbags for everything these days😳

  37. sazji on August 29, 2021 at 1:23 am

There are so many seed scams online; I report many to Amazon frequently. Blue Begonias, “Purple Venus Flytrap Carnivorous Bonsai”. 😅

Good that you discouraged that purchase!

  38. Mike Mike on August 29, 2021 at 1:23 am

You need to promote this video

  39. Buzzy Bee on August 29, 2021 at 1:23 am

Is star fruit seeds fake on Amazon?

  40. smart sales on August 29, 2021 at 1:24 am

Kush_fisher2020 on snap , I ordered from them twice and they are perfect . Be very careful
Of so many scams. Lol was shocked when it was delivered to me haha and when I opened the package even the dogs wouldn’t have scent anything 😂

  41. Sabastian Love on August 29, 2021 at 1:24 am

… kinda looks like cannabis seeds!

  42. Ghada Al-akhdar on August 29, 2021 at 1:24 am

    they look like peppercorns

  43. Merlin Athrawes on August 29, 2021 at 1:25 am

I spend quite a bit of time reporting fake seeds and plants – especially carnivorous ones. Some of the items are bloomin’ ridiculous. Yet people still buy them! Still not any better in 2020.

  44. skullaria on August 29, 2021 at 1:28 am

I bought mandrake seeds and plants from etsy- none were actually even mandragora, much less what I ordered. I bought skullcap from Amazon. I have no idea what it was but it wasn’t skullcap. My husband got henbane for datura off Etsy. We only buy from Harry at Alchemy Works for the witchy plants now. I get veggy seeds from Burpee. I have never had a Burpee seed not come up.

  45. no one likes my comment on August 29, 2021 at 1:30 am

My dad bought seeds of holy leaves, it sprouted into lettuce

  46. Abdoulkader Moustapha on August 29, 2021 at 1:31 am

Maybe I should have bought from ml gardener! I wish I never bought sunflower seeds from Amazon it was a very big disappointment

  47. Mr Cluckens on August 29, 2021 at 1:32 am

What you should do make a mini quarantine greenhouse and grow some blue drugs, I mean strawberries

I received a packet of Corriander seeds i ordered through Amazon and when they arrived they came from China and they had a lot of small insects in the packet
