I’ve grown Butternut and it takes way more space you would think. I struggled to get a Squash as it kept getting stung.

Thanks for your bravery to share your experience.I started my gardening in June last year, from seedlings I had bought from growers- spinach did very well but capsicum produced very small fruits- Iā€™m still new. The butternut tool well and gave me lots of fruits- I helped it with self pollination that I had learnt about from these you tube videos.

Radish & rocket is the easiest thing to grow. You can’t mess it up. Good luck with your garden. Which area are you in?

    Grow sunflower please šŸ˜

Oh, and the butternut that took well was grown on trellises so it saved my garden space. The seeds came from one I had bought from Checkers/Shoprite- cooked and eaten but saved the seeds for planting.
Keep posting the videos, much appreciated

Thanks so much for this inspo video. I’ve been scatterbrained about what to grow next.
Definitely trying out watermelon and runner beans for my soil’s nitrogen intake.

Hi there. Another inspirational video. You are taking on alot this season. Good luck my friend. I tried watermelon last year and I managed to get 1. But very tasty. šŸ˜. Watch out for fruit fly. They lay there eggs in the flowers and when the fruit starts to grow. The larvae eat it and the fruit dies. It happened to my crop last year. It’s was same with my pumpkin last year. Never got a single one pumpkin but want to try again. Happy gardening. šŸ˜
