Hey there! Love the channel! This is my first year getting into gardening and I’m quickly learning how much I didn’t know! Question- next year I’m wanting to get soil brought in so I can fill it into my native soil. I live in tallahassee so it is pretty sandy. What type of soil would you recommend, and how much? Thanks!

  3. jim on June 28, 2022 at 9:33 pm

  16. Malcolm T on June 28, 2022 at 9:48 pm

I got so many rocks in my garden, probably need to buy a mule attachment.

  17. Randy Ketcham on June 28, 2022 at 9:51 pm

Good demonstration of the wheel hoes. I have the double wheel version on my to get list for next year’s garden. Have to get some other items first to make the garden a place we can use this equipment.

  18. OldSquishyGardener on June 28, 2022 at 9:52 pm

  19. occamsrazr91 on June 28, 2022 at 9:56 pm

  20. cowboy's woodworking and farm on June 28, 2022 at 9:57 pm

  21. Big L on June 28, 2022 at 9:57 pm

I’m still exiting on my HOSS engraved handles!😂 Just kidding. You making pushin the wheel hoe easy on that beach. This heavy KY soil requires a little buttock!!

  22. Jason Powell on June 28, 2022 at 9:58 pm

  23. Robert Foreman on June 28, 2022 at 10:05 pm

Good to see you making videos Greg. I’ve been missing Gardening with Greg!

  24. Travis on June 28, 2022 at 10:05 pm

Having both the standard and high arch double wheel hoes. I can say they are a game changer for all garden chores. Really appreciate a fine American product!

  25. Gary Schmelzer on June 28, 2022 at 10:06 pm

How it that building coming along Greg

  26. KimiyeML Smallgardendream on June 28, 2022 at 10:06 pm

Nice tool my raised beds are only 13×4 so the old time hoe is my friend. 👍🏻❤️

  27. Suz Brewer on June 28, 2022 at 10:08 pm

So how’s it work with rocks?

  28. Tim M on June 28, 2022 at 10:09 pm

Because of being on wet land I normally plant on higher rows. I tried the garden seeder today on raised rows and its hard to stay on top of the row. I am thinking I may order another wheel or take one from one of my other plows and see if I can fabricate 2 front wheels. The old planet jr had wide wheels on the seeder and it is easier to plant on top of a raised row. I have 2 of the old planet jrs and a hoss stand alone seeder with all the plates plus 5 of every blank to make additional plates as the need arises.

  29. Brian Philbrook on June 28, 2022 at 10:10 pm

I started working my garden with my wheelhoe yesterday here in northern Maine. Last year I got the double wheel deal with the single wheel shoulder bolt and that gives tons of options. My next purchases will be the discs and stand alone seeder. No joke my wheel hoe took the place of my garden tractor with plow and harrow.

  30. Carol Avant on June 28, 2022 at 10:10 pm

Hi, Greg! I’m re-tilling Zone B today and will soon be planting sweet corn! My Christmas double wheel hoe will be getting a workout this year for sure, and I am so thankful and grateful to have it.

  31. jeff on June 28, 2022 at 10:11 pm

Absolutely love the wheel hoe and the high arch wheel hoe! Love using them in the garden and you can clearly see the quality! Thank Greg and hoss tools!

  32. Homestead Aquarius on June 28, 2022 at 10:12 pm

Those look like they work great and would be ideal for a backyard garden!

  33. Daryl Hawkins on June 28, 2022 at 10:12 pm

You have no idea how close I came to purchasing one. Going through my parent’s estate I found dad’s Empire No 2 Boy Scout push plow with attachments.

  34. Stephen Beard on June 28, 2022 at 10:14 pm

I need a rocking chair in my garden .

  35. Isaac Wood on June 28, 2022 at 10:17 pm

Need one just can’t afford one 😪

  36. DaGirlie A on June 28, 2022 at 10:18 pm

Loved watching this episode. Mrs Hoss, I’m with you. I’d drink the wine versus the DE drink. 😂 The wine looked so much better. Would love to learn how you made it.

  37. Sherise Mckinzie on June 28, 2022 at 10:18 pm

We need more "Gardening with Greg"

  38. Tom Mathews on June 28, 2022 at 10:20 pm

That’s great info, Greg! Furrowing and hilling are probably my favorite uses for the wheel hoe! I know we have a lot of new folks here that will benefit from seeing the hoes in action! Follow up with the other attachments, as I’m sure you will! I couldn’t imagine doing without my double wheel hoe!

  39. Herb Counselorh on June 28, 2022 at 10:20 pm

Still waiting for a Seeder and the Double High Arch wheel hoe … any idea when they may be available? :- ) May God bless.

  40. Kansas Misfit on June 28, 2022 at 10:21 pm

  42. Laura McDonald on June 28, 2022 at 10:26 pm

Happy to see another video from Hoss! We’d love Mrs Hoss to do a raised bed garden tour since many of us aren’t able to grow directly in the grown. 🙂

  43. hocine bouaza on June 28, 2022 at 10:27 pm
