I want to thank you for posting this video. I’ve been a little nervous to start (and still am!), but I think I’m overthinking it. I’m just gonna dive in. Thanks for asking the questions that so many of us noobs would ask.

    Here goes nothing!

  11. Nyom Chung on July 31, 2021 at 9:16 pm

For tomatoes you want to trim the bottom leaves that are wilting, so more nutrients and water goes to the parts of the plant that are growing, you will get a better crop

  24. Shadi V on July 31, 2021 at 9:25 pm

Do you ever worry about water pouring out of the herb planter and leaking through to your downstairs neighbors?

  25. Michel POHL on July 31, 2021 at 9:29 pm

Very good information! I am starting my small garden recently and I decided to grow herbs, lemongrass and fennel!

  26. Felicia Renteria on July 31, 2021 at 9:29 pm

15:50 that question almost annoys me lol it’s not really hard to tell, think about NOT drowning it, not letting dry out, but enough to reach it’s roots (since you’ve seen how deep they are and that they WILL grow out and take space) keep it nicely hydrated. I think you’ll grow a "feel" for the plant and what it needs, how it reacts to different amount (maybe) and the lighting..

Funny he mentions the 6th sense… but…. Does he see dead people? They seem totally unaware of the ghost in the kitchen.

  38. RGutz81 on July 31, 2021 at 9:42 pm

    How is your garden now?

  39. ArtByEdna on July 31, 2021 at 9:43 pm

I noticed that there wasn’t a drainage tray on the bottom of the rectangle pot. Should you put one so that your balcony isn’t going to get all wet? I want to start a container herb garden on my balcony too, so I was just wondering about this step. Thank you😊

It was so distracting to see her boyfriend or husband just stare at them the whole time! At times I could actually read his mind!😂😂😂
