THINGS TO PLANT IN JULY FOR ZONE 5 | Growing food in small spaces

If you’re wondering what to plant in July zone 5b don’t fret! JULY IS NOT TOO LATE!!!!

It makes me sad when I see people only planting in the spring and missing out on increasing their harvest by continuing to plant in the summer. There are both cold sensitive and frost hardy plants you can add to your Zone 5 garden in July to extend your harvest into fall and even winter for some plants!

Thanks for the info! Sadly I just found this today (mid-August) and I’m in zone 5a. I’m going to try anyway. I love the idea of the wood on top of the carrots.
