They said we were Crazy for growing this Fruit…

This fruit is reliable, pest free, delicious and you can’t get them in the stores. You have to grow them in a garden.

Thanks for the kind words and support 😁🐕❤️

    Is it self pollinated???

  2. Tom Jeffries on February 18, 2022 at 10:41 pm

The garden volunteers are the most fun . I tried growing a paw paw about 10 years ago but the area was too wet. I no longer have that problem. Maybe I’ll get another or 2.

Pawpaw is definitely an excellent fruit for cancer

  4. Coreen wagg on February 18, 2022 at 10:44 pm

Next year I plan on growing a paw paw in a greenhouse built just for it. I hope to get a self pollinating one, but will have to keep it 12-13′ . I’m zone 4b so will be interesting!! So excited! 😆
Love your videos! I’ve started my food forest! 😊🌿🌻

How old is Tuck? He looks so healthy and happy. Do you grow many herbs? I’ve only seen I think 1 video on that. Do you sell your veggies or eat them all?

MY EX WIFE THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY FOR CALLING HER A FRUITCAKE!!!!!

Awe, that was so cute. I love your dog. Great video too. I’ve turned my urban yard in Arlington, Va into a paw paw forest. I love the fruit. I plant the seeds all over my yard but only the seeds from the large fruit. I enjoy videos.

Where can you get pawpaw seeds in Ontario Canada. Where do you get a cutting from to grow pawpaw fruit.

  17. TropiCal - Growing Tropicals in zone 9b California on February 18, 2022 at 11:01 pm

Partially true, pond apples are an annonaceae and are native to the untied states. Also many many other annonaceae are native to Central America and the Caribbean

  18. Pamela Bratton on February 18, 2022 at 11:01 pm

I just ordered 50 seed for pawpaw. I was able to ‘obtain’ about 50 American persimmon seed from some coyote scat I found when wondering about our 10 acre plot! Trying to add more native fruit trees to my mini orchard!
You and your cameraman, my dears, have been an invaluable resource and confidence builder! Just "do the things"! And do them with JOY!

If I ever buy a house in jersey like I want, I hope you don’t mind me asking for some seeds of that paw paw.

  34. WinkGuy on February 18, 2022 at 11:22 pm

Pawpaws contain acetophyls, which can’t be digested by dogs. However, they can be neutralized by covering the pawpaws in chocolate

  35. Sophia Fun World at the park on February 18, 2022 at 11:25 pm

I am in Houston, TX, it is zone 9a, do you think i can grow? I already order 6 plants.

  37. Chloe Ma on February 18, 2022 at 11:29 pm

Paw paw, it is basically a Mango with black seeds

  38. hotspringsgypsy on February 18, 2022 at 11:29 pm

Paw Paw fruit is fine for dogs, but may cause some runny poop if they overindulge. The seeds, however, are not okay for them to eat. Signed, a 30 year Pet Professional

  39. manassawee Jeenapak on February 18, 2022 at 11:29 pm

Love that you share food with your baby, you totally my kind of people

  40. Stephanie Jakus on February 18, 2022 at 11:29 pm

  41. Bunny Thorley on February 18, 2022 at 11:30 pm

Aah! Who’d think a dog would enjoy radish! ❤️ to Tuck! Don’t think we can grow paw paw in mid-UK; we don’t get enough sunshine. But James is so energetic and enthused, and there’s still lots of permaculture info we can learn from👍🏼
