If you have wild lettuce, make a tea with it and drink before going to bed. It has helped me sleep better while going through the big M.

Have been looking through my herbal books and found one by fellow Hoosier, Dorie Byers. “Herbal Remedy Gardens – 38 plans for your health and well being” was published by Storey Books in1999. She authored other books, as well. German Chamomile, per her book states that its optimal growing conditions are cool to warm well worked soil. Can be grown from Zone 3-10, but in zones with hot summers, it is grown as a cool weather annual. You aren’t having luck because it is just too hot down there! Maybe grow it really early in the spring? Also, it seems feverfew is very tolerant of cold winters. Sometimes providing green late into the winter and becoming the earliest green in late winter/early spring. Continuing to enjoy your journey on the farm, still learning & loving to learn at 63! Tied up tomatoes & peppers today. Flower gardens need weeded… and around it goes. Dust, weeds, pests, and rust are never ending! God bless, sweet girl! Would love to find that lovely Bible at a decent price, still searching. Love those letters in green! How glorious to celebrate the Father’s masterpiece of all creation while studying his word.

I am just half way through the video , so i am going to have to comment twice..lol cause I’ll get caught up and forget lol i laughed to tears when Champ kept taking your plant packs !!! 😆 Loving your plans for the medicinal shade garden, definitely going to try that , really looking forward to hearing more on that. Melatonin has been my menopause night time helper for sleep . I actually have taken it for years (night time shift nursing home , day sleeping was hard) … Ok i am going to finish the video.. i am really excited.. i wasn’t expecting one today😁

Tracy, I’ve been in menopause 10 years, yes 10 years now and still have the symptoms. I tried the natural herbs and healthy diet, but still no relief. Then I started using over the counter bio-identical hormones like Bi-Estro Care and progesterones and those gave me some relief.

Tracy, if we were closer I’d loan, no, give you a cup of my biotone!
Bear Wallow Woods is my farmstead in Colbert county. Trust me, if I ever travel again, i am driving to meet you. I have so many questions!
You have introduced me to so many new plants.

At 64 I totally feel for you on the menopause thing! I’ve written my sweet daughter in love a saved letter for her to read about twenty years from now on that subject. She’s giving me beautiful grand babies now so no need to worry her pretty mind with what is to come. We have had four days of rain here in NE Texas which was unexpected but what a pleasure. New growth is already popping up which Lulu my milk cow is just loving. Strolling with you in you garden I could envision in no time it filled in and lush with green and flowers! Thanks for sharing it was a nice treat at 3:30 am when I still have bouts with the non sleeping issue 😊

Love all the different kind of plants that you have. My favorite is the cone flower. Good luck with the menopause. I’ve been through it. I’m 65 and I still don’t sleep. I go to bed late and get up early. I don’t know how you are but my mind does not shut down at night. I start thinking about things that I want to do the next day and other things when I lay down at night, but I don’t have half the garden you have. Have a great weekend and can’t wait til sundays blog.

Red Clover is an estrogen mimicker and will balance menstrual mood swings and symptoms when the hormones go off balance and must be used daily, 800mg minimal.

The first one you said might be toothache plant. Doesn’t look like the toothache plant that I grow, but the next one you pick up does.
