I myself have a hydroponic farm at home, and someone was arguing with me saying hydroponic grown vegetables contain more chemicals than soil grown vegetables because he argues that the soil serves as a filter for those chemicals. This is just ridiculous and I am just tired to argue with him, he’s a senior relative after all.

I also started hydroponics during her age. It’s really easy and cheap to do and it teaches you to respect how foods come to your plate.

Aquaponics is actually far less efficient than hydroponics since you need to feed the fish.
1:38 It’s not a closed look system if you need to feed the fish actually or the plants with nutrients.

  16. Clifford Lee on November 28, 2021 at 2:33 pm

Don’t eat too much hydroponic veg, they are not nutrient packed.

  17. Ah Girl on November 28, 2021 at 2:35 pm

  25. ThatsAwesome on November 28, 2021 at 2:45 pm

Aquaponic is a good start, next she should look to vertical farming Wich you use artificial lighting. That is more suitable for Singapore in term of food security.

Very interesting. We are working among marginalized and vulnerable women by empowering them through various craft. We feel that this will be good for our Centre to address the issue is sustainability. Can you teach the detail?
