Just recently found your channel and I’m binge watching. So far I’m loving what I see. Especially this herb planting. I love cooking and this idea will prove useful. Quick question: you didn’t demonstrate the soil you used. Is there a specific soil I should use especially since I will be using the herbs for cooking? Also do the herbs need anything else besides water like food plant/fertilizer? Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us. Much appreciated.

New gardener here… I  noticed you didn’t really "fill" your planter with herbs.. is this b/c they will spread out naturally on their own, or do they only "grow up"?  Thanks!

WARNING: never plant mint with other plants! It absolutely takes over a garden, it’s like a weed!

Love this idea for my garden deck area.  What size pot do you recommend using, like in your video?  Thanks for giving me inspiration this year for my garden!  New subscriber to your videos 🙂

Your video inspired me to plant a variety of my favorite herbs in a rectangle planter. Can you share how you used your pineapple sage & orange mint last year? Hmmm, maybe future videos on how to harvest & how you plan to use the garden items?

Hi. Do these herbs need to be in very sunny spots and do I have to water every day?

Where did you get the cute metal thingy you put in the center of the pot?
