Great writing – and Raylen Givens and Tim Gutterson together were gold.

Just rewatched Justified and loved it as much as I did the first time. One of the best shows in the last 30 years.

These two broken men are the best we can be. Don’t get me wrong, I love Jesus, but good luck being remotely capable of being like him. Tim has PTSD and an alcoholic while Givens is just a killer with a badge. Chose your side.. everyone is a moron who wears good clothes. Some wear it to hide their evil while others just put it on and say “whatever, I’ll take it off later. Just leave me alone” we all go through the lake of fire.

I truly love this series and have watched it many times. One of my very few problems with it is the writers misdefinition of the word "asshole." Almost everyone I know use this word a s synonym for "jerk;" that is, someone who is unnecessarily mean. This show, like a few other Hollywood creations use it as a synonym for a dumb or foolish person, which I have never heard in my entire life. It is pretty confusing.
