  3. BuyTechNow on September 8, 2021 at 1:16 am

    how did these grow?

  4. A R G on September 8, 2021 at 1:16 am

wild bird seed is not considered agricultural feed. So I would be careful, they say never by wild bird seed since it is not meant for human consumption.

  5. commonconservative on September 8, 2021 at 1:17 am

is flax seed oil, canola oil?, rapeseed?

  6. White Cat on September 8, 2021 at 1:18 am

You have probably already mentioned this, but sellers of sprout and microgreens seeds also have bulk non-GMO seeds. They may or may not be as cheap as the larger seeds you show in the video, but I think they are still a lot cheaper than buying in tiny packets–especially since they also offer some of the tiny seeds in bulk (arugula, radish, broccoli, alfalfa, basil, etc.)! I have bought from SproutPeople.org before, and they have great seeds…never had a problem with them sprouting. A simple Internet search on sprout seeds or microgreen seeds will bring up other companies too.

Earthfare has never been owned by Wholefoods. They’re a private company. If you’re gonna use birdseed understand the risks and at least spray with Hydrogen Peroxide.

Where can I buy wheatgrass seeds from and where did u get the sunflower seeds from again?

I think hummus gets into my gums and seems to cause my gums to get worse……I admit that I let myself go and now I am paying the price, but I think maybe it is the size of the grind or it isย  the biological activity

hey you mentioned Saskatchewan! And didn’t totally butcher the name, lol! It’s pronounced ‘when’ on the end though ๐Ÿ™‚

Congratulations, you managed to do like 95% of youtube and take what could have been a 30 second video and managed to ‘blah, blah, blah’ it into 14. In fact, let me fix your video.

You can save money by buying seeds at organic stores where they sell seeds and beans for food. And…Done.

  17. Rosa Anderson on September 8, 2021 at 1:28 am

do you know anything about Chaga

  18. Dianna Destin on September 8, 2021 at 1:29 am

This can work for some people, but the seed purity isn’t a sure thing for saving your own seeds at the vary least. I would hate for people to get confused by this video and think that buying your seed from grocery produce bins is the same as buying seeds as its NOT. Just a friendly FYI for newbie gardeners trying to save on the cost of seed.

  19. asabagrendel on September 8, 2021 at 1:29 am

Wow, that’s way cheaper than buying gardening seeds! Thanks for all the GMO info, too.

  20. Th Linn on September 8, 2021 at 1:33 am

Which types are these cold or hot weather crops? what types of natural fertilizers for each? how do they do in greenhouses? we are in greenhouse for food crops only now. Our water was contamenaited by the EPA ( Animas River, N.M. ) so we will be running it all through a heavy metals settling tank before applying to crops. 2015 if this is their best then they need to go.

  25. Jay Un on September 8, 2021 at 1:43 am

When it comes to beans all of Goya beans are GMO except the ones that are labeled non gmo so pretty much all the types of beings are being grown as GMO

  27. David Woodruff on September 8, 2021 at 1:47 am

If you buy seeds from a grocery store and they want sprout, thatโ€™s do to radiation, they run the seeds through Radiation to kill the germination for longer shelf life.

  28. Alison Rennie on September 8, 2021 at 1:47 am

Another problem with flax seed: they are high in phytoestrogens. Like soy, these plants artificially increase estrogen levels. This raises your risk of hormone-related cancers & lowers testosterone, sperm count & libido in men. It also hastens puberty in girls. I think soy is a bigger problem than flax but it’s very much something to be aware of.

  29. commander woody on September 8, 2021 at 1:47 am

Did you know that humans have been genetically modified organisms for thousands of years take a look at what corn looked like 2000 years ago . It wasn’t changed with chemicals it was a selection of the best grown corn . That’s one example. . .gmo doesn’t mean unnatural

  30. Amy Nguyen on September 8, 2021 at 1:50 am

Great information. So, are you growing these to get more seeds from them to eat? Or do you eat them as plants? Thanks.

  31. Ramin on September 8, 2021 at 1:50 am

Where I live, (In Canada). Some of the places offer a 25% discount when you bring your non plastic bag to the store.

  32. Edouard Prest on September 8, 2021 at 1:50 am

Why are you worried about GMOs? From what I understand there is no legitimate scientific evidence saying they cause an ounce of harm. Many GMOs are disease or pest resistant requiring less spraying. I would take something with less synthetic chemical compounds sprayed on it any day. I don’t understand why people are so worried about finding non GMO seeds. I looked around online and cant even find a place to buy GMO seeds at the non commercial level.

  33. alfriedar on September 8, 2021 at 1:52 am

I just tried sprouting soy beans… they just got smelly and moldy… followed the spouting jar instructions… worried that they might have been killed somehow

  42. Elaine P on September 8, 2021 at 2:03 am

Bird seed is sprayed to kill bug eggs, not safe to eat. I guess planting them is ok but I just buy them from seed sprouting companies. Super cheap and safe for human consumption

  43. Django Apple on September 8, 2021 at 2:03 am

You’ll be throwing up in your wastepaper basket if you plant those amranth seed. Same family as red root pig weed. It will spread into everything.

Which seeds that are good for sprouting without using soil?
right now i am enjoying lentils and alfalfa.
I have no luck with brocolli seeds and quinoa seed for sprouting. However, I love quinoa cooked like boiled rice. In fact, i have not eaten rice for so long now. I replace rice with quinoa.

  47. Cheryl Whitestone on September 8, 2021 at 2:07 am

  48. Angelo mon on September 8, 2021 at 2:08 am
