    Very nice video

  2. Annie Sterner on March 29, 2022 at 5:51 pm

LOVE the UFO variety. Didn’t know they grew that high!

  3. A Jay on March 29, 2022 at 5:52 pm

Does anybody know how on earth she keeps grass out of this cut garden?? I’ve gone backwards watching videos and it seemed like it never had any in the first place

  4. Hayley Lawrence on March 29, 2022 at 5:53 pm

Laura, where did you get your kneeler? My knees are killing me in the garden. Thanks!

  5. Abel De La Cruz on March 29, 2022 at 5:56 pm

I understand that you have hard water. But have you thought about the impact on the environment, replacing your plastic tube water lines every year? We must all do our part to make sure our kids have a healthy, thriving world. More important than ever! I love the UFO!

When it comes to investing, nothing pays off more than educating yourself with the right information from the right source. That’s how you get rich.

  7. AnneMo on March 29, 2022 at 6:03 pm

Laura, why so much waste of resources on your channel? Like most of US gardeners I see you using tones of fertilizers, bags of compost (btw, I haven’t see you once doing your own compost from all the organic matter you have available), drip tapes used just one year, hundreds of expensive plants, bulbs that you don’t even bother to multiply yourself, tones of mulch and so much more. Ah, not to forget the lightening of your home in full day…just cause you like how it looks. You have a gardening channel, but the care for the environment does not seem to be on your priority list. You’re channel seems to be just an income source of living. Just sad!
You Americans are so used to live in a consumerist era and I’m pretty sure you don’t even think or care about the hard condition more and more people are living on this planet. You have 1,5 million subscribers, teach people to garden according to the new climate era we are in (USA have a huge contribution to this), teach people use and reuse their materials, care for the soil health, grow food without so much money and technology. I watch your videos and think how many Planets we would need if most of us would have more money to buy and consume as you guys from USA are doing!

I wish you’d say how long in real time it takes to do each step of the process (and total time).

  9. Rebecca Fleckenstein on March 29, 2022 at 6:05 pm

Hey Laura. Watching your videos about winter sowing encouraged me to winter sow a bunch of seeds this past winter. I live in zone 6a. I winter sowed cosmos seeds the first week in March and three weeks later I have cosmos seedlings that are 2 inches tall! I also winter sewed pansy seeds. I see several pairs of green leaves hovering above the soil. So that’s encouraging To know that I’ll have a bunch of pansies soon!

  10. Gardener's Supply on March 29, 2022 at 6:05 pm

We can’t wait to see these in bloom! So glad our Adjustable Super Hoops and Summerweight Fabric can help you grow these beauties!

  11. Erin Smith on March 29, 2022 at 6:06 pm

Ladder mesh from a construction store would work the same as the super hoops.

We are all sinners and we have all fell short of our sins. Our sins will cost us our souls, for the wages of sin is death. There is GREAT NEWS. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried, and rose on the third day to save you from the destruction of your sins. For sins yields to death, without believing in the gospel, accepting Jesus into your hearts, repenting and turning away from your sins, your souls will not enter into Heaven. Your souls will be casted into hell for eternity.

Jesus is returning soon, but time is severly short. This world and what it has to offer is fleeting away as I type this, however the word of God stands forever. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He loves you and thought about you since the beginning of creation, and every moment that lead up to him on the crucifixion on the cross. Accept him now. Build a personal and deep relationship with him. God Bless you.💛

Hey Laura! My husband and I bought our first house this year. Up until that point I was doing gardening only in pots on our apartment balcony. So moving forward it will be my first time planting in the ground. Our house is a new build and the builder will be completing the grading of the lot. Not sure if that will be topsoil—not sure how that works.

When I watch this video and your previous videos when you put down the layer of bio tone and the compost are you putting that down on topsoil or just a “designated dirt zone for plants”? And do you till before you do that?

I am curious about this as if I don’t have to buy topsoil I would love to get away with it and just do a layer of fertilizer and compost on top. Assuming that as you water the plant the nutrients will just sink into the native soil? My soil is more clay-based. Curious about your thoughts. Your help is appreciated! And I absolutely love your videos! They are food for the soul! ☀️🌸

How exciting! Those are going to look beautiful!

  15. Lois Maudson on March 29, 2022 at 6:09 pm

    Love it x ( u k )

  16. Susanne Kramer on March 29, 2022 at 6:11 pm

I´m growing Ranunculus for the 1st time this year. We live in Zone 10B, in Portugal, and they´ve just started blooming now ❤

  17. Kristen Davidson on March 29, 2022 at 6:11 pm

You both work so hard. So very inspiring as a couple, family and business. Appreciate your videos in so many ways. Happy planting!!🌷

  18. Cassandra Carrell on March 29, 2022 at 6:12 pm

I’ve been following for about 2yrs now and love your videos!!! Question: how many acres do y’all have??

  19. Georgette on March 29, 2022 at 6:12 pm

Thank you for all of the extra details you explained and showed us, it is so helpful!

  20. Connie Jordan on March 29, 2022 at 6:13 pm

Oh my you have so much energy. Can’t wait to see these beautiful flowers.

  21. Ken Peachey on March 29, 2022 at 6:13 pm

I’m interested in growing cut flowers but looks like a lot of cost? Better have a buyer right?

  22. Sue Littell on March 29, 2022 at 6:14 pm

Anyone who isn’t able to have a cost worthy drip system can’t help being envious of the ease of having a more workable garden. She certainly makes the most of it.

  23. akanksha bhengra on March 29, 2022 at 6:16 pm

Finally you are in different color….. really cool and even now you remind us of Spring…

  24. debra powers on March 29, 2022 at 6:17 pm

i meant to ask you; how did you know 3 rows of the drip tape was too much? were plants dying from overwatering or what?….

  25. Julie Colbourn on March 29, 2022 at 6:19 pm

Just out of curiosity when do you use the trip tape versus the trip tubing you use in your raise beds? Thanks.

  26. Simply Bloom on March 29, 2022 at 6:21 pm

I was so surprised to see you wearing red after you took your jacket off I had to do a double take! I’m so used to only seeing you wear black, white or blue. You look great in anything though! Fabulous video like always. I live in a zone three so it will still be a while before I can plant my ranunculus but I’m glad I’m in a colder zone than you because it’s always nice to have a refresher course on how to do things before it comes time to do it in my garden.

  27. patty westridge on March 29, 2022 at 6:22 pm

Oh my laura is wearing a new color, I just love the red on you …
How is it your ground isnt still frozen my is still frozen in spots I cant wait for it to thaw

  28. Esther M on March 29, 2022 at 6:23 pm

Is it possible to plant another crop of flowers after the ranunculus? because they bloom so early? first year growing them!

  29. Kathy Nims on March 29, 2022 at 6:27 pm

    Yeah!! Planting day !!!

  30. Stacy Lamountain on March 29, 2022 at 6:28 pm

Where do you get your drip tape from? Amazon? Another company? Curious so I can compare.

  31. Margaret Lilley on March 29, 2022 at 6:29 pm

Can you please tell me where you found the drip tape holder that first appears around 4:52? This would be a game changer on our farm.

  32. Heidi Everett on March 29, 2022 at 6:30 pm

    why the row covers?

  33. Choirun Nisak on March 29, 2022 at 6:34 pm

I wish those beautiful flowers could grow in my area

  34. Sue Littell on March 29, 2022 at 6:35 pm

now I am worried, did I plant my ranunculus bulbs upside down?

  35. Barbara Bigelow on March 29, 2022 at 6:36 pm

    UFO 🤣
Always gotta check your work = the one that almost escaped 😆

  36. Barbara Lindberg on March 29, 2022 at 6:37 pm

It’s official now. We’re getting close to spring but a little setback with snow at the moment. I’m doing my indoor sowing and started my Ranunculus corms yesterday (the first time to try).

  37. Sara Jakoubek on March 29, 2022 at 6:37 pm

    Is Laura wearing…. RED?!!! 😉

  38. Ashley Merrick on March 29, 2022 at 6:39 pm

How do you not have any weeds where you are planting?!?! Teach me your ways!!!

  39. Lisa Jensen on March 29, 2022 at 6:40 pm

Please tell me where you get your brown 1/2 in drip tubing. I haven’t used drip tape yet. I bought some brown 1/2 “ from Home Depot and had to toss it! I couldn’t even unroll it without it kinking. I laid it in the sun to help but it still kinked.. it’s just awful. I hope I can find better quality! Thank you for EXCELLENT content! You guys rock!💕💕👩‍🌾

  40. Lisa on March 29, 2022 at 6:40 pm

All that plastic drip tape going into a landfill each year? There are better ways. 🙁

  41. ALW on March 29, 2022 at 6:41 pm

Hey guy’s how’s it going? NWI is still in waiting for that spring day to arrive! I’m so loving that I can at least watch Laura break ground while watching her button up all her spring cleaning duties and making my to do list …till the sunshine’s down on ME✨🤍⏳

  42. Tracy Cotterman on March 29, 2022 at 6:41 pm

Some people have diamond, house, or car envy. I have soil amendment envy, lol.

  43. Isabelle Butler on March 29, 2022 at 6:41 pm

Love what you do! Question: why drip tape in the cut flower garden, but drip tubing in the raised beds? I am planning to have irrigation put in this year and am a bit overwhelmed with all the options. Thanks for sharing your expertise.

  44. Linda Duckworth on March 29, 2022 at 6:42 pm

I love the different shirt color!

  45. Lauren Trapp on March 29, 2022 at 6:44 pm

Where do you order your drop tape from?

  46. Elizabeth Tompkins on March 29, 2022 at 6:44 pm

If you have the drip tape up won’t it get water spits on your flowers? Love your jacket color on you.

  47. Angie Brockett on March 29, 2022 at 6:44 pm

New Gardner in Ohio: Do you have to introduce the Reneculus and Renamese slowly due to the cold weather?

  48. Grace Sellin on March 29, 2022 at 6:49 pm

I mean this woman talks and talks and talks and talks good God it makes me even tired just listening to her

  49. Cynthia Ann on March 29, 2022 at 6:49 pm

I live in Maryland near Annapolis and I am chomping at the bit to get my garden going. It’s zone 7 so I have to wait a little bit longer to be frost safe. Love your videos!
