Hi, I love your videos and signed up to use your garden planner. I created a mini Hugelkultur garden last Summer. Do you think the garden planner can be used in my garden? I am rotating crops mounds but I have limited sun, so I placed my lettaces on area with less Sun. which does make rotation a bit more challenging. Any thoughts? Thanks

Just wish the planner would work on my phone. I don’t have a computer and although I pay for the planner I can’t use it

Question for anyone who might be able to help: I had my yard treated (pest control) back in January of this year, so 7 months ago. They really loaded it all over the yard as I live in SW Florida where we have big headed ants that were burrowing into our house. They even injected the ground surrounding the perimeter of our house. They treat around the house with spray every two months. My question is, I want to do organic vegetable gardening and begin within the next month, and I plan on doing raised beds with store bought soil. Would this be a safe way to garden, is it safe enough, and how deep should I make it so there is no cross contamination with anything within the soil from the pesticides? I worry about the safety of it and nobody seems to be able to help me with this. I have even reached out to our local Ag Extension via email and have heard nothing back. Should I put any type of product down at the bottom of the raised bed to protect the soil within from the soil underneath leaching any pesticides through? Thank you for any answers you can give, anyone!

I would really love to know more about how to grow fruiting plants/trees in pots. I have a garden that is practically all decking but would love a fruit tree! I’d also really like to hear your thoughts on the practice of root trimming (if that’s what it’s called) to keep large plants from outgrowing pots

I just got a community garden plot. I used to have one of 15m2, and now it’s 100m2. This is a great help. Thank u. Please be safe during our snowstorm Darcy.

Thank you. I love your content, delivery, and encouragement. I noticed that The Old Farmer’s Almanac website does, too. I also noticed there were no ads before the video, during, or after providing the next video is from your channel. I follow several gardening channels and I’ve noticed of the ones I can watch regularly and actively search for, 2 are from UK, and 1 is from Australia and I don’t live in either of those countries.

Question: if I ammend my garden soil every year, do I still need to rotate crops?

This was great! Going to your website to get the planner. You sound like you’ve got a cold–hope you get over it fast!

I love your videos. Winter in Wisconsin is a good time to focus on the garden plan and ordering seeds. I like your idea of having some raised beds right next to the house. I may do that this year. Thank you and I look forward to more!
