Peterhof Fountains and Gardens – St Petersburg Russia
Peterhof Palace with its unique Fountains and Gardens has been acknowledged as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and was originally commissioned by Peter the Great of Russia. We visited Peterhof gardens on a cruise ship visit to St Petersburg in August 2019 and enjoyed the musical Grand Cascade fountains and the beautiful gardens. Video features the musical switching on of the fountains with its impressive gold statues and also some views from around the beautiful royal gardens.
