Vertical farming with Tower Gardens is on the ‘rise’ and rightfully so. You can grow a variety of plants without ANY soil and 90% LESS water. It also requires 10x less space so you can do a lot more in a smaller area. That means easily growing fresh herbs, fruits, vegetables, and flowers both indoors and out. And because everything is grown and picked fresh, the flavor is unbelievable!

I LOVE THIS IDEA CAN BE USED TO FEED SOME ORGANIZATION S WITH JUST EASY STEPS AND FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT EASY GROWING TO THOSE WHO HAVE LOT OF WORKS BUT I DON’T THINK IT’S A WAY JUST TO REPLACE OUTSIDE FIELDS CAUSE AGRICULTURE AND FORESTING PLAY A KEY ROLE FOR CLIMATE , RAIN, SEASONS, AIR PURIFICATION, OXYGEN PRODUCTION, AND A HOUSE FOR WHOLE ANIMAL LIFE FROM INSECTS TO EAGLES IN THIS UNIVERESE PROTECT LIFE ALL LIFE WHICH GOD CREATED CREATE BALANCE DON’T CUT OFF (LIKE SKIPPING FARMING IN FIELDS) OR OVER USE ANYTHING

  35. Bear Bonger on August 13, 2021 at 12:07 am

That seems to be a nice way of growing vegetables with no (0/zero) nutrients. The normal regular soil is what contains the nutrients, minerals etc which is processed and made a bit more bioavailable for humans. However, the best way to get nutrients is for the plants to be eaten by ruminant animals (further processing the nutrients into bioavailable form) and then for humans to ingest them through meat consumption. Just got to love scientist who thinks that they are solving problem and just keep propelling us further and further into nutrient deficient foods (processed foods). Just stop trying to solve a problem that has already been solver – we evolved to eat meat, real meat that is free pasturing in nature.

the problem with this type of farming is that the quality and the taste you get from vegetables grown from systems like this is way different than those vegetables grown from soil and water, the food grown from soil and water is richer in protein and food vitamins than those grown in this type of systems if you buy a tomato grown from an aeroponic and hydroponics system and you buy a tomato grown in 100 vertical system you can taste the difference immediately.

this is an extortionary faciality. Nice job, for a report from a social media perspective, you did well. Bringing this to another demographic is important in a style that us relatable. Maybe this will help bring this fresh growing to the cities and the apartment residents that desire veg all year round that they can grow.

And all I see him growing is lettuces/leafy stuff. Where are carrots? Pumpkin? Apples? None of those will work in this growing medium.

And no soil? I wonder what’s in his nutrient solution that get pumped through the system.

As far as the sweet flavor of the romaine? Less water used means the natural plant sugars are concentrated in the plant.

Also on the bugs/pesticides thing? That would be because this set up is obviously indoors. In a greenhouse.
