We used the 2 gallon one often, but just bought a 15 gallon one for the weeds in the rocks which are our yard. The Hori-hori looks neat, but my growing space is too small to have a fancy tool! I do want a Green Stalk for my greenhouse. We finally got a fan installed and our misting system needs to be fixed along with the timer! We just replaced the valve for watering with several hoses. Have you found one color of Green Stalk over another having an advantage?
thank,s it,s the first time i saw those apron, we just ordered 2
Cannot wait for greenstalk to ship to Canada. I literally can see the US from my city.
Not gonna lie… I went and bought them all ๐คฃ except the apron. Don’t quite "need" that one
I got the cobra head and hori hori knife after Jess’s earlier tools video – I use the knife all the time, and the little cobra head pairs well with my niwashi weeder. So with these three the weeds, planting and some cutting, is totally covered. Unfortunately we cant get the green stalk planters here in New Zealand.
Lol oh yes …I remember doing exactly that…stop mix more ba k to spraying
Thanks for doing this video, iโve been doing garden for about 12 years and Iโve never heard of this Tool HORI-HORI. Iโm now thinking about getting one some come with sheath
I found your YouTube channel a couple days ago and I feel like itโs going to be a binge for me!! I just ordered your book too! Congratulations! Your so encouraging and inspiring as wellโฆ Iโm working a first garden for myself and itโs been amazingly rewarding! Thank you for so many tips and the endless knowledge!!
I thought about the Roo Apron for about a week and finally ordered myself one through your link, thanks for the suggestion!
I did get a dibber and a cobra head for in close weeding and I needed a better hole digger. I will try this dibber.
Where you find that apron I love it can you let me know thanks ๐
We love Donald Trump
When both you and Gardener Scott are claiming they will not garden without a hori-hori then I know it’s time I look into buying one.
Look at Bear being all regal in the background…. ๐๐
I went and bought the lard Cobra head weeder and I have to say that it is by far the best garden tool I have ever used! you all must buy one!
I love my hori-hori knife. Great for planting small bulbs and little slips of things. I also love my hoedag. Makes working in my clay based soil easier.
I put your book on my Mother’s Day list.
Been using a hori hori for years, it is an absolute must have on my garden tool belt. She’s right guys, get one! You wont regret it!
I’m not a new gaedner, but my wife bought me your book. I like having a reference eight at my finger tips at all times.
Just came upon your videos today…. LOVE them! Thank you for sharing! Looking forward to seeing more of them in the days to come. For now, I’m about to order me some tools. ๐
My neighbor and I have found that a good garden tool for scratching up, lifting weeds is….are you ready for it? A spaghetti serving tool. You know the claw-like utensil you use to pick up drained spaghetti from a pot. Yes, it seems strange, but the claw shape actually works. lol Necessity is the mother of invention.
Do those green stalks hold up under hard strong winds. Are do they blow over??๐ค. We get strong winds ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐คโค๏ธ
WoW๏ผ๏ผThese tools are really good๏ผ๏ผ๏ผ
Thank you. God bless you!
binge watching your vids, I am so buying that book.
I have watched your channel for a while and you are an inspiration! We bought a small piece of land in Brazil and I’ll practice all the great information that you have shared with us so gracefully. I can’t wait. Thank you very much.
I just picked up a one gallon sprayer at Home Depot for $5
I just added your book to my Christmas list.
I got my dibber from a thrift store a few years ago.
Sending this to the hubs right now ๐๐ Thanks!
My daughter walked in the other day and said sheโs my favorite I like her talking about your show!
Am I the only one who thought the rivets on the dibber looked like googly eyes at first?
Love the Barebones hori hori, I always recommend the ultimate one because of the pommel on the handle it’s nice to have a hammer. People with smaller hands might be interested in the AC Lenord hori hori it is a little bit smaller and lighter.
I’d love to buy one of your shirts but I’m hesitent to get something that won’t fit. What size do you wear in the tshirts and sleeveless shirts?
My family and I are loving your channel! We are pretty much newbies โค๏ธ im a homeschooling momma of 5, but I have 4 girls and 1 boy lol. my 7 year old enjoys seeing your boys helping you, as he loves to help me do all the things too.
I have my peepaw’s dibble, it’s really special to me. ๐ฅฐ
My daughters surprised me with a Roo for Christmas. I did send them a pic because I thought it would really suit me, but never expected them to treat me!
Itโs so fun when my budding gardeners back my crazy gardening spirit!
Love, Love, Love your Book.. I look through it all the time. The pictures are Beautiful, and great information.. God bless you and your family..
Love that Charles Dowding got a mention ๐
Jess has a knife, donโt talk to her funny
I love your necklace! Do you have an autistic in your life, too?
You are such a breath of fresh air.. thanks for all the beautifully done videos. Iโm hooked, here from the beautiful Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia Bless you ๐๐ผ for all your sharing
P.S.im on my second Hori hori! My fav garden tool as well..,Cheers. Colleen
I didn’t know you had a book! Just bought it! You have so much going on in the backgrounds of your videos. Is there a video with a tour of your gardening and prep spaces?
Thank you! That cobra tool is a game changer!
So when I heard Roo Apron…I was thinking Roux and just didnโt get it…but now Iโm like ohhhhhh like Kangaroo ๐คฃ

Ordered the Roo Apron for my daughter in laws birthday & Mothers Day (she & my son made me a grandma) and just got notice that the Roo people have been overwhelmed with orders ๐ขwider why??๐๐๐
The BB Hori is much cooler than my plastic handled one (that I LOVE) that I often leave dug in the dirt. Maybe, I could get better at putting it away..๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ๐
