Welcome to Kitchen Garden Therapy channel. My name is Slava. Here I share my experience with growing my food from seed and practicing permaculture principles. I am an avid cook and herbalist, love fermenting and canning what I grow. My garden is a very small urban backyard, zone 5b, I am growing in ground, raised beds, cold frame and a little greenhouse. Sometimes gardening is viewed as hard and stressful, my purpose on this channel is to show how therapeutic and rewarding it can be. And how great it is to be at one with nature. I find it to be specifically important in urban areas where people are so alienated from nature. No matter where you live and how much space you have, you can start small and grow together with your garden, eat what you grow and grow what you eat. Hope you find my ideas and experience useful in your gardening journey.

I’ve been planning my medicinal garden for a while and will be sowing my seeds early 2022; thank you for sharing.
Be well and be safe.

All of your herbs look so beautiful. Thank you for sharing a wealth of knowledge. You’re inspiring me to expand my herb garden. This year I used a product labeled deer netting. It has done a wonderful job keeping the birds and squirrels from my plants. It is a light and flexible product. I think it may do the trick for you. It is easy to work with.
I love lemon balm tea but I haven’t paired it with chamomile. I will give this a try. Still watching ๐
This was a wonderful video. I learned so much! Thank you! Ryan really enjoyed it also and was impressed with your garden!
