Beautiful job, but I could have wept when you painted it.

Minha única observação: Seu trabalho é ótimo, mas No período deste video contei 58 propagandas…… ficou muito maçante de assistir…. poderia ter cortado partes sem proveito do video….De resto ficou muito bom o trabalho.

Dear sir, Three questions for you, not too personal I hope. Did you secure it to the founds with impossible to remove bolts and brackets to stop anyone pinching it? Is it insured as a separate item on your house and contents insurance?. Did your mrs choose the finished colour?

  6. Elizabeth Lee on July 17, 2022 at 10:30 pm

The first time I heard a British person say aluminum, I had no idea what they were talking about. Haha.

  7. Kren Wregget on July 17, 2022 at 10:31 pm

I really love the commitment to your craft and treating every project like a high-end project, even a planter bench.

Awesome video. Is there a way the jig can be made without a drill press?

  9. steve hutchings on July 17, 2022 at 10:32 pm

What’s the car in the background?

  10. ChewieOne on July 17, 2022 at 10:34 pm

Those cupholders are way too big, but otherwise, a very nice garden bench

  11. TinkTheHustler on July 17, 2022 at 10:38 pm

Absolutely beautiful, rock-solid bench!!! 2 things though:
    1) this was posted 2 years ago. How is the pine holding up with the teak oil and paint, as protection?
    2) I dropped my phone laughing when you said "aloominum" and scuffed my case. You owe me .14 cents (pro-rated, of course). 🤣😜

  12. Mike Gilyeat on July 17, 2022 at 10:39 pm

Do you have plans for this project Russ? Very nice.

  13. Larry Siroky on July 17, 2022 at 10:41 pm

Beautiful work! I am very curious about the car in the background. Future project video?

Put the pencil behind your ear with PU glue on it.

An awesome project to compliment any garden, any home. Amazing how you have worked your way through all the cracks & splits in that timber to bring out the best looking planter & seat. Super stuff my friend. Stay well, Don from South Aust.

You obviously don’t need clones but can you apprentice a couple minions? You are an incredible craftsman with an artistic eye for the beauty within wood. Wishing you and your family another great week. Greetings from NE Ohio, USA. Peace brother

How did you get a Festool power cord to adapt to your Bosch Colt router?

  22. Joanne Clifford on July 17, 2022 at 10:49 pm

Nice. Glad you wore your Bench t-shirt.

Ever had any problems with using the beech dominoes outside?

  25. Nick P on July 17, 2022 at 10:51 pm

Beautiful set. Would’ve rather it be stained to show the wood grain as opposed to the opaque yellow. Looks great nonetheless.

  26. Venena Religio Est on July 17, 2022 at 10:51 pm

    As always – superb 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

  27. Peter Cozzaglio on July 17, 2022 at 10:54 pm

This would be awesome as a DYI kit for the average homeowner.

  28. Aaron Wrigglesworth on July 17, 2022 at 10:54 pm

great build. although, I would have filled the pots with ice and beers!

    Top Job 🔨 👍👍👍

  32. Orion Warren on July 17, 2022 at 11:03 pm

I can see you’re trying to mask the fact that you’re using Gorilla Glue but no matter. Those of us that work with wood to be used outdoors ‘get it’ immediately! Lol

  33. Robert Schmidt on July 17, 2022 at 11:05 pm

That bench project is really beautiful. Nice match on the door.

  34. John Ramsden on July 17, 2022 at 11:05 pm

    We’re in Yorkshire are you?

  35. Bad Robot on July 17, 2022 at 11:06 pm

A legless loveseat for Mr & Mrs Yorkshire! Nice work.

  36. vladibudha on July 17, 2022 at 11:07 pm

Are you living close to the sea? I heard this beautiful noise of waves crushing at the end, when you showed the Bench in the front yard. I saw all your Videos, don’t know which I liked the most.
On the Bench you could apply a little shelf, so you can put a cup and a kettle of tea there. (just a suggestion 😉

  37. yorkshire fazer on July 17, 2022 at 11:07 pm

great video! would personally have left it as bare wood as you can’t beat the look 🙂 but i understand why you painted it.

  38. Juan Javier Barrera Zamora on July 17, 2022 at 11:08 pm

    Excelent job

  39. Joe Kerr on July 17, 2022 at 11:09 pm

    You‘re watching a master … great job 👍🏽

  40. florence hallard on July 17, 2022 at 11:10 pm

*As an amateur with woodworker, I typically feel overpowered with the entire arrangement. Be that as it may, this arrangements drove me through with much clarity and effortlessness **Allmy.Tips** I now work like a genius. That is great!*

  41. Andreas Olfert on July 17, 2022 at 11:12 pm

    Sehr gut

  42. Richard Cagle on July 17, 2022 at 11:12 pm

Love the design and I’m used to working around all the specialty tools some people have, but I think the comprises here would be too time consuming for me to make work. How much longer does festool have a patent on the domino? Want a cheaper option. Good work though

  43. Chris Downing on July 17, 2022 at 11:14 pm

Again what skill! Forget the cup of tea have a beer! You have earned it. Interesting the floating seat bench, surprised that a few 25mm screws can hold it!

  44. Sawdust & Woodchips on July 17, 2022 at 11:15 pm

Love your work. Question: you used the festool plug on what looked like a Bosch trim router. How?

  45. KrissTheSavage on July 17, 2022 at 11:15 pm

You are definitely one of the best craftsmen on youtube. I definitely learn a lot from your videos

  46. Federico Fava Colucci on July 17, 2022 at 11:15 pm

With how beautiful natural wood is, painting it was a sacrilege, but there is nothing written about taste.

  47. Dannevig .K on July 17, 2022 at 11:15 pm

Great project as always, though do worry about your dominos. I was taught not to use premade dominos and fishes outside, because they are made of beech. Which has a horrible weather resistence. The joints will last shorter and take in moist and fungus faster.
You can use dominos, if you make the dominos yourself from oak or similar wood with better weather resistence.
Let me know if im wrong, could save time in later project :).

  48. Roro SEPPEL on July 17, 2022 at 11:17 pm

    sorry for the pencil !

  49. extraordinary coach on July 17, 2022 at 11:18 pm

Man with the most highly specialised tools, many of them hand crafted, uses pencil as glue spreader. Awesome work.

  50. Richard Robbins on July 17, 2022 at 11:20 pm

Why in HELL did you put that God-awful yellow paint on your otherwise stellar woodworking effort. It ruined it- it looks like shit now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
