The Leyeet Solar Fountain Pump is something a little different for the channel. A garden gadget that I have seen several variants of for sale on Amazon. This is designed for a Bird Bath, however, as this is essentially a submersible water pump it could make for an interesting water feature for the creative mind. My wife has ideas to put it to work in a Belfast sink she plans on renovating. Could be used in a small Pond, pool, or on a garden patio as a decoration.

I bought this pump too. I like it alot. The only problem is I can’t seem to keep water in the birdbath!!! I think it just splashes it all out in a short time. I even put rocks around it to hold it in the exact center of the bath. I dont want to burn up the pump if it runs out of water. Have you had this problem? Thanks 😀

You didn’t install the small filter, which doesn’t fit on the stack as it’s supposed to, according to the visual directions. Since you eliminated it, I guess it’s not that important. Also, assume that the backup battery is already installed. Thanks.
I set my pump to auto and it works during the day but shuts off at night. The instructions say it will automatically turn on at night, it’s not. Do I need to leave it on Night mode for a day to charge the battery so it can work at night? Great video. Thanks for the help.

Thank you for the video showing how to assemble the solar powered water fountain. Although you made it look simple, it didn’t have the most comprehensive instructions. It looks great in my little garden and works well, so far.
