Oh the swimming pond of course that is what I would want and can’t afford lol. But that way you get the natural beauty of the pond while also having a place for the kids to cool down. Love love!!! This was a beautiful and Inspiring video!

  2. Donna Gallie on March 19, 2022 at 5:32 pm

    These are all so beautiful!

  3. Christie O on March 19, 2022 at 5:35 pm

Connie’s backyard looks like a mini botanical garden. Beautiful!

Aaron and Laura some of us are having trouble uploading files to the raised bed submission form. It keeps saying server rejected! Help!!!

  5. Janet Gies on March 19, 2022 at 5:37 pm

I found my problem was the constant Earthworm activity in the Filter.

  6. Rio Tarbo on March 19, 2022 at 5:38 pm

Great ideas. We have a 1&1/2 acre pond that I am gathering ideas for. Full of fish and sludge.

  7. Denise B on March 19, 2022 at 5:40 pm

Wow! What wonderful looking ponds. One day we hope to have a pond. I absolutely love each and every one of them. Thank you for sharing.

  8. Bless Her Heart Homestead on March 19, 2022 at 5:41 pm

That swimming hole pond is amazing! I want to do that in my backyard, but I’ve got to do more research about it, as I’ll be doing it myself.

  9. Sally Eve on March 19, 2022 at 5:42 pm

Beautiful video for a Sunday morning. Beyond stunning!

  10. Sandy Makin on March 19, 2022 at 5:42 pm

Beautiful pond and waterfalls for sure! But all I can think of is tiny children falling into them and drowning if unsupervised. I am currently a grandmother, and I would be concerned about it constantly. I don’t mean to be negative, just to make people cautious of this.

  11. Ruth on March 19, 2022 at 5:42 pm

I would love to have a pond. I love these videos.

  12. Cora's Creative Corner on March 19, 2022 at 5:44 pm

Diana from Clermont 🙋‍♀️ Hey neighbor!
I want to do a water feature and I love yours. We live in the same town, if you see this… connect with me. I’d love to ask you some questions, related to heat and algae here in Florida. 🤗💕

  13. Seasons With Anthony on March 19, 2022 at 5:44 pm

I was watching an old video when you put flags in the flower pots in your town, you also picked up a grown man’s poop. Do you still put the flags up? Can people still adopt planters in the town?

  14. Severen Koski on March 19, 2022 at 5:44 pm

This too makes me want to use more lighting around my garden. I just don’t know where to start or end.

  15. Seema Arun on March 19, 2022 at 5:45 pm

Pond guys are ready there to help u … we Indians have to think how to have a pond 😢😢😢

  16. Pamela Helen on March 19, 2022 at 5:45 pm

Love a water feature in a garden, I think it completes them. The noise of moving water is very peaceful too.

Looks like it’s blowing a hoolie as you filmed this. The trees are really getting a work out!!!!

  17. atfuni27 on March 19, 2022 at 5:46 pm

Laura! STOP! Don’t do it. These photos are just a snapshot in time. The rest of the time is devoted to maintenance, clean up, fish care, plant care, filter care, chemical placement, it’s a nightmare. Think of the swimming pool and the maintenance it needs and multiplied by 10! That’s how much work goes into having a crystal-clear pond. DON’T DO IT. Yes, these are beautiful ponds but the amount of work you have to put into it does not justify the little time left over for enjoyment. Sadly, I think you already did it.

    Antes e depois. . garagem.

  19. Ana Harp on March 19, 2022 at 5:48 pm

Love, love this! My mind is spinning with all the possibilities! How about putting the pondless pond in Benjamin’s garden. Of course he has to share with Samantha! Keep all your wonderful videos coming. They a great start to my day!!!

    @Garden Answer
👋🌞Good Sunday March 13 morning Laura and fellow GA subscribers!
I don’t recall seeing a pondless waterfall on your property; perhaps you used to show it before I started watching your channel. I remember the pond that you took out, though. Was that what you were talking about?
I am looking forward to seeing these pond submissions, whilst sipping coffee.🤗🤗🤗
Wow!!!! Gregs’ ponds in IL are GORGEOUS!!!! I would love to have a large enough property for a pond. I have a canal outside of our backyard; does that count?😂🤣😂
Obviously, Gregs’ business is successful, from the size of his former home! His new home pond is also beautiful, just a scaled down version.
Brians’ pond is GORGEOUS too! Loving the elephant ears by the container pond!🤩
The gazebo would be wonderful to relax on and feed the koi!
I wonder how you net a pond/pondless waterfall? Did Diana (sp?) give any specifics?
What a clever use of the wheelbarow as primary waterfall source, Tonya (sp?) and Hubby did!
Wow, Connie has some huge koi in that pond! Beautiful pond! And very kind of Connie and Mark to give tours to interested individuals!💞
Ann(sp?) in Michigan, must have a family member or herself, that served in the Navy. I believe that is a Naval emblem on the pond wall. Thank you for your service, to whomever the emblem is for!🇺🇸
Yes, I agree with Benjamin, "oh my goodness gracious". What a transformation!!!
    Beautiful elephant ears again!
Yes, koi are beautiful fish to watch! I love seeing ponds with koi in them!🥰
What? Suechetta’s(sp?) pond is only 1 year old??!!
What a faboulous job they have done, in 1 short year!
    👏👏
I can see your trees dancing in the background outside your sunporch.😍 They must be happy.🌲🌳
I love those beautiful red-leafed trees, in Susies’ yard! I love fall colors! We don’t have much Fall color in AZ desert.😭
Congratulations to all of the pond submitters!👏👏👏👏
You ALL have created beautiful ponds! 🤩🤩
Thank you for sharing them with us!
Have a Blessed and Beautiful day, Laura and everyone!
    Kimberley F in AZ 🏜

  21. Seasons With Anthony on March 19, 2022 at 5:49 pm

I was watching one of your older videos where you did something with your sister in law named Nelly. Does she still own her business? Also, are all your siblings involved in the gardening business some way or another? What are your siblings jobs who work at the garden center?

  22. Alyn Cook on March 19, 2022 at 5:51 pm

    😄🤷‍♀️😄🤷‍♀️😄

  23. MAIRA VLOG on March 19, 2022 at 5:52 pm

    Beautiful 🤩

  24. Kulani McDermett on March 19, 2022 at 5:53 pm

Question for this: do you have to have insurance for ponds with an actual pond? Especially if they aren’t fenced???

  25. Barbara Lindberg on March 19, 2022 at 5:55 pm

The swim pools are so awesome. That’s what I’d want. This video was so much fun. Hey guys, keep sending the before and afters because I love watching how excited Laura gets for those LOL.

  26. Zil Senczy on March 19, 2022 at 5:55 pm

You really need a playlist for these viewer submissions. They are the best!

  27. Simply Bloom on March 19, 2022 at 5:56 pm

Those are some beautiful ponds! Living in northern Minnesota we joke that our state bird is the mosquito so all I see when I look at ponds are just places for mosquitoes to multiply! Is there something that you can add to the water to prevent mosquito larva?

  28. Anne hedlund on March 19, 2022 at 6:00 pm

So happy to share our pond with all of you. Wish I had a before shot, but they are actual photos. The yard was just open and unused. It is a problem to keep it clean, but use blue pond dye to disguise the color! Loved the bigger koi ponds, but we have hawks and herons always waiting for dinner.
The water sound is definitely the best part, we are near a busy street. It makes me feel miles away!

  29. Elise Vautour on March 19, 2022 at 6:01 pm

What a wonderful video shared. Timeless and so much serenity. Thanks to all who contributed their Inspirational Oasis. 👏💚🌞🇨🇦

I can’t wait for your raised bed video! <3 love your channel.

  31. Corey Grubar on March 19, 2022 at 6:03 pm

Lovely video! Will you be doing an update on your neighbors beautiful pond you planted up?

  32. natalia mcbryde on March 19, 2022 at 6:04 pm

My mum just bought a greenhouse she she is so excited to grow things that she has never had much success with.

  33. edna richardson on March 19, 2022 at 6:05 pm

    Love the ponds…..

  34. Marci Day on March 19, 2022 at 6:08 pm

The triangle garden would be a great place for a water feature

  35. jetta bartholomew on March 19, 2022 at 6:08 pm

My fav was the swimming pond. I was a WSI… I’m going to recommend swimming classes for both kiddos. I’ve taught adults to infants…so much fun 💛

  36. Gayla R on March 19, 2022 at 6:09 pm

A friend gave me a hot tub that was just a nightmare…constant issues. My hubby came in one day and said he was going to just bury it. And I said….ok. We sealed it up, painted it with a safe paint, and put it into the ground. The seating in the hot tub was perfection for marginal plants and the depth was great for the fish. With rock and landscaping, it was beautiful. So if you ever see a trashed hot tub, snag it up.

  37. Jeffrey Berkshire on March 19, 2022 at 6:10 pm

I absolutely loved this video. How great to see the creativity of all the Garden Answer family. Now I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Wouldn’t a pond, stream, maybe a bridge, some lighting…be so beautiful and fun for the whole family?! On the topic of beautiful gardens, I sure would love to see ideas from the Garden Answer family for 1) Planting gardens for fall color and 2) Planting gardens for winter interest. Thanks so much! 🌱🌲🌷💕

  40. Beverly Wilkinson on March 19, 2022 at 6:15 pm

Such beautiful spaces i live water features, i really enjoyed this video👌👍👏

  41. Lainez on March 19, 2022 at 6:19 pm

I love the video. Quick question: What do you do with all the gnats in espoma cactus mix soil? I have been dealing with this infestation for a year and got some more bags thinking that it would be better. I opened a new bag and gnats flying inside the bag already. I don’t know what to do. This is horrible espoma need to do better than this.

  42. Amy Deeds on March 19, 2022 at 6:20 pm

Love seeing these beautiful ponds! I wonder if tree leaves require a lot of maintenance issues 🤔. FYI-I received an update from PW, unfortunately the Grand Garden Show sold out super fast! so no day passes will be available. Maybe next year…😊

  43. M Dorn on March 19, 2022 at 6:20 pm

Once you get the symbiotic union between plants and fish it keeps the pond clear…we kind of struggled the first year…but after that it took care of itself with very little care

  44. Melissa Schloneger on March 19, 2022 at 6:23 pm

I love the water features, but have great concern about using koi in the US. They are invasive and will take over native fish populations, destroying our native wildlife in the water. I would strongly discourage the use of koi outside of their natural habitat.

  45. Nancy Brown on March 19, 2022 at 6:23 pm

I love Greg Wittstock and his company. I actually put in a waterscape pond BUT…
Laura I don’t think you should have included such professional ponds in this segment. And to lead with them made everyone else look puny. I wish you would have stuck to all amateur ponds and at the end put a link to Waterscape or show his ponds then for something to aspire to. This is the first criticism I have ever had since you started several years ago.
I also realize this criticism should not be aimed at you but rather whoever chose the videos as I know you don’t see them until you tape the segment.

  46. Terri Vance on March 19, 2022 at 6:25 pm

Just an FYI from a professional aquarist–larger ponds are actually LESS maintenance. The reason is because the more water there is, the more stable are the pond’s water parameters.

Btw, should ya’all ever decide to set up a fish tank in your home, I highly recommend ya’all go w/ species from either East Africa (Rift Lakes, especially) or Central America–they thrive in water that is liquid rock. 😊

  50. Cherie Sinor on March 19, 2022 at 6:29 pm

Beautiful and inspirational! How about a video on small water features in pots or other containers for patio areas or tucked in a garden? That’s something I’d like to add to my garden and would love some ideas.😊
