Just received a 12 pod IDOO unit and it has deeper pods than your unit has. I suspect they actually listened to user input and made a change. I also suspect they are the same pods as the ‘newer’ 10 pod unit.
I have a 10 pod unit on order and will compare the pod size when I get it.
How often to you feed the plants?
I was looking for some such products this is really interesting.

What is the Power Voltage to the unit? I was planning to order it from Amazon US, however, the volatge is different from that in US (we have 220 VAC).

I own two of these units. I am dealing with a lot of green algae developing in my herbs garden. Some of the pods have germinated seeds, but the pods are soaking wet, and smell loudly of wet sponge.
I am now wondering if I should remove the developing herbs plagued with the cited factors. 🙁

Anyone find an easy way to change the water every few weeks as suggested? I changed my water for the first time yesterday. Messy. Probably going to add a drain plug. But if unnecessary would love to know there’s an easier way *before* I melt a hole in the thing to accept a drain plug. Thx

Good video! I bought the 12-pod system and assembled it before seeing your video. Glad to see I got it all correct (first time hydroponic grower) 🙂 I planted in nine of the 12 pods at the moment. If you can do a video about cleaning the pump for this system next month, that would be great. It’s one place where the manual wasn’t quite as specific as the other parts and I’d certainly like to get that procedure correct (it’s a different pump than the one in your video for the seven-pod system). Thanks!
Thanks for your video – I was having trouble with disassembling this system for a move. Now I am able to place everything back in the box exactly how it came! I attempt to grow bareroot strawberries with this system, yet no sucess so far..the strawberries kept molding at the roots. The plants were growing leafs but I could never get it to fruit. I will start all over again after my move, or maybe grow something other than strawberries.

Hello, whats the difference with the Vegetable mode and the Flower/Fruit mode if they run for the same amount of time? Why and when would I use them, same question for the fan? When and why would I use that function? Thanks.

First off, thank you for doing these videos. I’m trying to decide between the 7 and 12 pod system. Any suggestions or recommendations? I’ve also thought about getting two of the 7 pod, because I want to do strawberries and tomatoes and I’ve heard that you can’t do them with veggies (Lettuce, herbs, etc), at the same time.
What are your thoughts?

Is it necessary to leave the fan & water on during the first few days of germination while the dome lids are on?
It would be easier to initially add 20 ml of each food to the first one liter, then just add 3 liters plain water.
