You forgot the important part …. how to plant the seeds!
Why not just germinate in plastic baggies with wet paper towels inside to save all the money spent on this…? Just wondering what, if anything, is the difference? Thanks!

Hey, been awhile, can I do this with grow lamps, a heating pad and the lid to germinate or do you suggest I remove the lid? I’ve found the specialized heating pad speeds germination. ‘d remove the lid once germinated of course. Would there be any benefit to moving them outside in the day when I already use quality grow lamps? Thanks much
Not a single seed from my mixed batch in this worked and I really am not sure why the seeds are definitely good as the direct sewn did fine it seems like they could be drying out in the middle first any idea why
Got 2 of these both trays had holes In the bottoms of the tray. Found out while soaking disk, came back to water all over floor…so watch that…
Do you water after the dome is off? Not sure how long the water is held in the pellets

There’s condensation under my lid. I don’t think I’m supposed to remove the lid until seeds sprout correct?

I do the same thing!! I use a heat mat to keep everything warm and help those seeds to sprout. I too lay those $10 LED shop lights right on the Jiffy Greenhouse. Its a 5000k spectrum and my Cayennes are growing like crazy!!!

Sorry to say, but this isn’t the "Best Garden Channel on YouTube"…listening to you drone on and on is very tiresome. Plus the heavy breathing doesn’t help either. This could have been a 3 minute video and said exactly the same as you did in this 6:44 video. UGH get to the point.

How wet are your jiffy pellets while waiting for germination? Do they stay super wet? Mine are wet and the water level is below the pellets – probably touching the bottom of the pellets and definitely the capillary mat. When I lift the lid to check for germination the lid kind of rains down the condensed water. Is this the expected amount of moisture? I have a grow heat mat that is the same size as the greenhouse beneath and an LED grow lamp above. None of my seeds have germinated and it’s been three weeks but the seeds are several years old, probably closer to 10 y so I just want to rule out the moisture question before I conclude that my seeds were too old. I bought new seeds to try again.
