The labels look nice but if you can’t tell what they are maybe you should not be cooking lol.

they said it’s by Miracle-Gro, why doesn’t everybody understand? Her point is obvious! Her point must be that "It’s a miracle if it will grow". LOL

You shouldn’t expose the root system to light.

I followed each step carefully used same products but to my surprise when all my seedlings had popped out from the soil it was not my herbs of choice so i took it upon myself to continue growing this mystery plant and then one day i came home to a pungent smell coming from my garden so i investigate this matter to find my 15yr old son had replaced my seeds with marijuana seeds now my wife was gathered up with my son daughter and grandfather engaging in recreational narcotic use as well as a drum circle, thank you miracle grow

This will never work without drainage….sorry Miracle Grow but you are absolutely incorrect and people are wasting their money.
Roots need water and oxygen to thrive – this will eventually drown your plants or cause a feast/famine situation because you can’t water enough without smell, etc..
A true DIY project would include a handy drip tray underneath that the plants can drain into and can be removed to empty.
    This project is not complete.

Love this idea. I went to Good Will and bought 12 plastic flower vases to use. I put about 2" of beads in the bottom for drainage then I cut a circle out of coffee filters to place over the beads to keep the potting soil from filtering down into the beads then in goes the potting soil and my plant. Perfect idea, thanks

You need gravel or stones or perlite on the bottom for drainage. DON’T DO this it will kill your plants.

  20. Astridr Love on April 19, 2022 at 6:47 pm

Don’t you need holes in the bottom to aerate?

How do they do in the winter? Don’t the plants get root rot when they cant breathe at the bottom? Just curious if this actually works. Thanks!

What a terrible video. Should have spent some time thinking and planning. You definitely need some drainage holes and some course pebbles to help drain things. With something to catch extra water. You can even reuse the water
Your way will rot the roots and kill the plants. Kind of hard to drill holes in light covers.
