You should never put your plants as close to the wood frame as she did .

My mom and I are beginning to garden some veggies and we learned so much from you! Thank you SO much for your guidance. Your raised bed already looks amazing! God bless.
Great video!!
That strawberry plant is pot-bound, but you didn’t free the roots to spread.
Beautiful Katie!
With respect
1. Better off with 50/50 topsoil and compost. Plants dont have enough micro nutrients in compost alone.
2. The bagged compost will shrink down alarmingly. So MUST FILL these beds to the very top and over….. to allow shrinkage back to the top.
3.
WAY WAY to many plants in the bed…plants do grow and your not allowing room for growth..

Why don’t you mix compost with soil?
Hello, just wondering if you are concerned about planting them too close together…for example the rosemary plant can get huge and crowd out the others…are you planning to transplant these later into a bigger bed?
lovely , but put a layer of cardboard down before you fill the bed , it will supress the weeds below and worms love wet cardboard
Love the accent. Scottish?
Do you need to put netting up to stop the birds eating them?
I loved it when you said "drunk on beer…I can think of a lot of worse ways to go" LOL!!
Soap is what you eat grate soap and sprinkle it around your garden slugs hate it they won’t go near your crop . Also 1 teaspoon dry yeast in water 1cliter mix spray on your crop keep bugs away
