how often do you fertilize with neptune’s harvest? Do you do foliar spray or just irrigate the pot soil? Can i put two pepper plants and one cucumber, all in a 14inch pot?

I live in apartment. I have a balcony. I just recently decided to learn how to grow vegetables. I got some plastic pots from the dollar tree, the seeds as well. Starting to get green little balls. Any advice would be appreciated??

Can you do a video on how to grow radishes (especially in a container) for a complete beginner? By complete beginner I mean someone who has literally never planted or grown anything in their life.

I love radishes but have little knowledge and absolutely no experience. I can’t have a full on in-ground garden right now and I don’t want one yet anyway since I don’t know what to do, so I’m starting with planting in containers. I’ve read that radishes are supposed to be grown in cooler weather, and it’s already midway through summer, so I figure that’s something I might be able to actually grow as summer ends.

How to you deal with the lack of sunlight?

  7. Patricia James on July 27, 2021 at 7:58 pm

I have tomatoes, peppers, squash in containers but they haven’t grown much at all since setting them. The plants in the ground have grown at least 4 inches and were set out later than the containers. What would cause this? If anyone has any ideas, please comment. I have spent a lot getting the containers and soil.

I live in So. Arizona and it’s very hot right now. I’m starting an indoor garden, but I’m also trying to make sure they get enough sunlight without them drying out from the sun. What is the best thing I can do.

Hi. May I suggest you don’t recommend a brand. I just went to Home Depot site n read some disturbing reviews of this product. Buyer beware. I hope you are having a great Memorial Day. Please, everyone take a moment to remember deceased men n women serviceman. Peace to you and yours

This was inspiring, and helpful! Thanks!

Would be super cool to talk pros and cons of grow lights versus "poly tunnels" or plastic tarp greenhouses that you can "hat" over your container.

Rubbermaid tote bins work great for planting and for my worm bins. With 1/2” holes covering the bottom and a couple inches up the sides.
