Actually the easiest blooming houseplant you can grow are dwarf sunflowers some varieties of dwarf sunflowers will do okay by a window that gets atleast 5 hours of direct sun

Not ice cubes! It burned the top roots that absorb some water. Too freezing for these roots!

How will you water them? If you put them in plastic bags WITHOUT drainage holes, won’t the orchid roots rot? This video on Orchid Care tips are NOT Right. Check out other professionals’ videos on orchid care. Guys please don’t kill your plants by following his tips.
I am not sure from where he got his ‘Orchid care Tips’… But NEVER PUT ICE CUBES ON YOUR ORCHID the way he suggested. They are tropical plants.

this is how to ‘decorate’ with orchids, not how to grow them fella…. worst advise to a beginner EVER! Water isn’t going to drain out of your plastic bag… like someone else suggested, this may work for a water lily, not an orchid…..

Wrong techniques … This plant will die in 6-7 months … It must be in open container which provides more air to roots, placing it plastic bag will kill it .. use coconut 🥥 place some coal and wood skin place plant directly on it
Why do you tell people to use ice that is a no no. I am surprised that you would suggest such a thing. You are killing orchids with ice. Look at MissOrchidGirl and she will tell you how to keep orchids happy and blooming for 40 years. Happy planting and enjoy your orchids.

This was so hard to watch. Even worse then ice, he’s not treating the orchids like they’re real. Why would you put them in a plastic bag?? Would you do the same to another plant?? If it was artificial, thats ok, but orchid roots like all LIVING PLANTS will GROW. need room to grow!

Never put ice on orchids. They are tropical plants and don’t like cold ice or cold water. Please research before you publish wrong information. This video is showing how to not take care of orchids!!!!orchids like a lot of ventilation not sealed bag. They grow on trees in nature and their roots are exposed.

“O” yeah, what a skit. I find that moth orchids are worse than looking after children (I don’t think I could look after rug rats .
There are so many contradictions with different growers, I was lead to believe that moth orchids grow on the side of trees, not in a plastic bag!

Sorry, but I do not agree with your potting technology! There is NO way those Orchid roots are able to breathe! Plus no drainage as well! Bad 👎 idea!
