Why not use steel pipe? PVC moves when you push on it.

    I hated this. So much.

The shirts said RZ so that would be the great PPE face masks from RZ Industries at RZMASK.COM. I was using their product even before Covid-19 because of COPD.

  10. Micah on May 6, 2022 at 7:22 pm

    This was awesome thanks.
Watching it made me think I might actually be better forking out to get my work done professionally.
I’m not confident I would get a result this high quality and don’t have much in terms of tools aside from a shovel and barrow.
Maybe underestimating myself but not sure :/ definitely not shy of hard labour but this looks fairly technical

  11. allen sanchez on May 6, 2022 at 7:24 pm

Aye that pallet says Jonesboro Ga I lived there

  12. Persistent One on May 6, 2022 at 7:24 pm

When you price out a project like this, what range of prices per square foot do you use for the patio, the seat wall, and the columns? Most of the quotes I get for paver patios are between $10 and $17 per square foot, but maybe pricing is different for walls and columns?

  13. Veroniciany Veronica on May 6, 2022 at 7:30 pm

Now that baby fox is way too cute man I don’t to work now

  14. Rick stafford on May 6, 2022 at 7:32 pm

Belgard is a thick good looking product. I Work at Lowes, hardly any breakage on the pallets I’ve sold.

Stop with your stupid commentary and show us the actual build.
It maybe fun to listen to you but fun doesn’t make construction. I came to the video to learn how to construct but your keep adding your dumb commentary and jokes.

$3700 in materials and quote the customer between 12-15k? That’s about 400% markup? For 16×16, 2x 12ft seats, and 3 columns. Seems way over priced.

Stop screaming. Also, polymeric sand makes a f’n mess if you’re dealing with heaving. 2 years later, you’re spending the whole summer fixing every joint. 🙁

  25. David Piersimoni on May 6, 2022 at 7:43 pm

Super glad I found this channel. Hysterical but lessons still come through. Sometimes over Zane shows like bill Nye or Schoolhouse rock(remember and love those?) trouble is, we all know the song but can’t use conjunctions properly to save our lives. Don’t underestimate the art in this production.

  30. Art Guti on May 6, 2022 at 7:54 pm

I’m currently working on doing my own paver patio (all by myself). I’ve already dug out the existing dirt. I’m working on laying some 4" drain pipe…then I’m going to run some electrical and 3/4 sprinkler pvc while everything is dug out. I’m not going to be using the retainer edging…but I’m going to pour a 6" wide retainer wall to keep everything locked in.

  31. rasheed mahmoud on May 6, 2022 at 7:54 pm

How can i install the pavers on steel cover of handhole with 4cm depth please??

  32. Highway Robbery on May 6, 2022 at 7:55 pm

Wow 12-15k.. I would of bid 8k maybe 10k. But that’s why I’m here. To get better, either be pricing or techniques. Thank you sir

  33. Meredith McDaniel on May 6, 2022 at 7:57 pm

Can you refer a team that could come install this back patio (possibly on a smaller scale) and an addition to a drive way in the same manner this was done but with different pavers for the drive way, in Augusta GA?

  34. Persistent One on May 6, 2022 at 7:58 pm

At 11:35 in the video you calculated the seat walls as 12 feet long, and then doubled that number to account for two sides. But what you did not do is account for the height of the wall. Your calculation assumes a 1 foot height, but it looks like 2 feet. So wouldn’t that be 12 ft long x 2 ft high * 2 sides * 2 walls = 96 sq ft?

    More of similar projects! Awesome!

  41. jeffbrent on May 6, 2022 at 8:03 pm

and 15K later you have a nice patio!!!!

  42. Insert Name Here on May 6, 2022 at 8:05 pm

Spikes rust and hold slightly better BUT in the long run, they will rust out of existence and hold will cease to exist. So its actually better to use galvanized metal for this in the long term. The differences are miniscule. Sadly, Americans dont build anything to last anymore. Not alot of people left that value quality and durability

Very informative, thank you and wish me luck.

  45. LindazVideos on May 6, 2022 at 8:09 pm

So, if the slope is 1 inch for every 8 feet….how do you build a fire pit or bbq on top? Wont those items look like they are sloping?? At 1inch for every 8ft, wont the patio table look like it’s sloping??

  46. swordscot on May 6, 2022 at 8:10 pm

    Stop shouting.
