I like the style of raised garden box you built. What is the height of it, 4 feet?

Plastic or landscaping material? I saw in a later video that you used landscaping material rather than plastic. Great video and free plan. My planter turned out great. Keep up the good work.
Cheers Chris.
Thank you for keeping it to the point and simple play by play editing. "Not a whole lotta wacky going on" in this video. Zip zing done 👍 👍 🇨🇦
Hello there, I have requested your DVDs, for simpler and quicker approach to manufacture a shed woodplans.works I trust the substance are as you guaranteed it will be. Just I’m worried with the substance, it won’t be anything but difficult to settle on a decision from the various plans.
Pretty fancy forna box full of dirt
Thank you 😊
How many bags of dirt to fill???
Looks Great! Thanks for the plans….how do I find the plans?
I like your video but I am a beginner and you got way too fast for me. I don’t know what you are doing exactly because I can’t slow you down lol. I’ve never used a pocket hole jig and haven’t found a video I like yet to show me.
Jeez great job
putting plastic on the bottom does not allow for lettiing access water away from the plants. It seems to me that every time you water your plants, the water will build up having no way to escape.
Ganna make this this winter so going into spring I can make an elevated garden to deter my cats. Probably build a screen area on top with the front foldable to keep them out.
Great job!
Are there written instructions: Sure would be nice to have those.
One more question … Could I make it 10ft long or 12ft long by 4ft wide without changing anything else?
Worried about all that extra weight.
How much did this cost? Or how much wood will I need?
That’s definitely the wrong plastic my friend. You want to go with a landscaping mesh not something that’s going to hold in all the mold and moisture. All good
I can’t believe I’m saying these words, but it was oddly satisfying watching and hearing you drill holes lol
Nice looking garden bed!
Hope your glue is water proof….
Can you share the dimensions for each piece of wood after you made the cuts? I’m trying to recreate this but I have to have home depot cut my wood for me
Can you make me one??
I just built one and my wife loved it! thanks for sharing!
Great video! I’m going to get moving on this. Did you use the same kind of screws throughout the project? If so, what were they exactly?
excelente idea, muchas gracias por compartir, saludos
I just finished making this myself, first real woodworking project.
I do wish a little more time was spent on showing the dimensions of the boards and the final product as you were going along, but I respect that you wanted a snappy and quick video. Most of the information I needed was here and in the plans, though as a first project I had to learn a lot on my own (like how 1×6 boards are actually 0.75×5.5, as with the others). But it was fun that way: I only had one sawhorse and lots of clamps instead of the very nice looking table you have, definitely can see how an investment in that would save a whole lot of time on future projects.
Thanks for the video, it’s allowed me to confidently make an actual garden for my apartment’s patio, I’m very happy with how mine turned out 🙂
Nice and simple buddy

@DIYBUILDS Quick question. First off, this is was awesome video and I think its along the lines of what I want to build. However I want to make a modification but I am a Newbie Amateur to building anything but excited to start learning. The dimensions of this box is perfect in terms of width and height. However I would like to increase the depth of the box to 18" to 20" inches. I am going to build a SIP (self irrigating planter that will need at least 6 to 8 inches for the water reservoir that will sit beneath the soil. So your plants state that this box you built is 1 ft deep. I have wanted to give it another 8" of depth, would I just add on more level of side boards? So instead of 3 side boards there would be 4? Would I have to account for that with any other adjustments?
OMG! I remember the first box I built when I was 5 yrs old. I watched you build a box, and was so inspired, I showed it to the entire village. They were so inspired, they built a big box, and it is now our symbol of a higher power. We worship the box.
Beautiful work! Looks really classy and clean!
great video, I have a question for you. why are you poking holes in plastic cover?
What nailer is that from ryobi?
Ghezzzz you could throw this box off a plane
This is the best I have seen so far.
Great video. Appreciate the guidance for my wife’s birthday present!
5:20 aaaahahahhahahaaa
Cool. Now push your wood through without being a bitch….
If you can’t operate a table saw safely, you shouldn’t be operating one at all.
You don’t need sticks/pushers ripping wood if you know what you are doing
These are gorgeous. Though to be honest this is a bit too difficult for me! 😅 I don’t think I’ve ever built something before…
Really well done video, thanks for the share!!
BTW…new subscriber. Love your work.
"A whole whack" lol…Love it!
Why when i click on the get free plans link it takes me to a page where i have to enter my email? And then it takes me to a link where i have to pay money ? Don’t advertise something free when it isnt.
If anything , I am the total OPPOSITE of a DIYer but after watching this over and over, I think I can do it !!! Just a few quick questions: are the legs strong enough as I was thinking 4X4 posts would be used. Also, should I try to level it before I put the dirt in?
$1000, 500lb box
i clicked because there were pokemon on the thumbnail. disappointing…
Awesome video. Very informative. Just one question though, is it alright if I dont use any plastic to protect wood?
Gorgeous! Looks like the kiddos had something else in mind for this "garden box". LOL
Glue? Eww
