I’m glad the pencil made it into the video ✏️

I agree with you about the watering can; the ones with S-shaped spouts are more decorative than functional. Straight long spouts from the base are especially useful for watering plants that might be far behind many other plants or high up.
PS: the pencil is the reason I subscribed 😁

I need a new pair of sheers, I’m still using my craft scissors for plant pruning, lol.

The plastic watering trays from CT…would they be found in the plant/garden section or are they marketed as something else and you’re re-purposing? I think I need a few of those, seems useful for multi-plant watering.

I never thought of Canadian Tire for my plant needs. I always go to Walmart or Amazon.ca. Off to Canadian Tire….lol ~Thanks as always

I’ve never heard of grow lights til you’ve mentioned it before in one of your videos so I’ve bought one and it helped me a lot, thank you.

I use those skewers too to measure moisture in the pot, it’s an awesome trick.

Those jars are are great idea for propagation.

Very helpful video as usual Jeff, thank you 🙏🏽 enjoy your weekend.

Those are good plant tool tips. There are a few items that I am going to pick up to add to my plant toolbox. Also, I love Canadian Tire too….everything in one store. 😊

I’m going to look for that watering can. I know exactly what you were trying to convey. I am short and it’s very difficult to use the other kind It’s so hard to get the water out when it’s halfway empty. Thanks fir the tip

I’ve used the Bonide systemic granules for years! Great 👍 product.

  17. Linda Sue Plants For You on December 22, 2021 at 5:19 pm

Also I use the Bonide as well. Works great. I use captain jacks for foliage. Question: If you use nematodes, doesn’t the Bonide kill them? I heard that so I’m curious

I want to know where you got the little cloches! I have a cloche addiction! I use DynaGro Foliage pro for all my plants. I use the maintenance recipe which is 1/4 tsp per gallon of water. Have used it for about 12 years now. Good, solid fertilizer.

My favourite tool is the pencil. Well, actually I am just leaving a comment to support your channel. 😉

I love Canadian Tire! I like that you can look up what you want and their site tells not only what’s in stock but also how many and what *numbered aisle* it is in❣I have questions:
1-Where did you get the ‘S’ hooks?
2-The names of the pest products and where or how, if you are able to say?
3-The trays, where they in the kitchen section of CanTire or somewhere else? I bought dollar store trays for my humidifiers (you know there will be spills, etc) but they warped from the warmth.
I was hoping to find something like your potting tarp locally but no luck so far. This was an awesome video, love to see these because it helps us solve problems we may be having in ways we hadn’t thought of and ideas to upgrade your various equipment!

The pressurized spray bottle is a life saver for me. I use it with a need oil + soap solution for a monthly/bimonthly shower for all my plants. It makes it so easy to clean all the foliage. I also use it to wet your my moss poles and my succulent prop pot so I don’t make a mess with putting them underneath the sink.

I get it about the watering can. And I also found one of those trays now and I love it. I got a big one and it keeps my work surface clean and it’s light and portable.
TFS . I love these kinds of videos.
