We finally closed on our new house a week ago and have been moving. I’m so itchy to plant things. I have this list now and am ready! I have lost 55 lbs now and want to get off all of these meds. 55 lbs left to loose and one of your skirts will be my reward 😉 I hope you have a blessed week.

After watching some of your videos on herbs, I broke down and made a valuable purchase for our homestead…a book by Nicole Apelian, Ph. D. & Claude Davis. "The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies: The Healing Power of Plant Medicine". Mother Earth also has a Fair and this year, they have made educational videos available to the public for purchase. You can pick and choose which ones that apply to your situation.

I live in Australia and we can get a product called Anna’s Yam cream. It is progesterone cream made from wild yams Chase tree Aloe Vera. It is amazing for rubbing onto an area that is about to bruise It stops the bruising and definitely makes the are feel better.

Hi Heidi, I was gifted 3-5 inch young valrian and comfrey plants. I need to get them in the ground. Are there things I should keep in mind when finding a spot to plant them?

  26. Mimi B on May 25, 2022 at 8:28 pm

2020maybe? Taught us All being ready to deal with our Own health, homesteaders with a big yard or not….herbs is something anybody with a back deck should grow them.

Oh a few might need to stay inside OR be seed saved for the next spring/summer but hello we should all be self sustaining As possible, every/any year! (Its 2022 and
it sure seem like there’s no less of a need….. yet ha ha haa

Tur-mer-ic. The "tur" is pronounced like "sure" only with a "t" – it’s not pronounced like "to". Great list of herbs! I love herb gardening!!! You can get a super discount through Starwest if you open a wholesale account. I believe you need to order $200 at a time, which isn’t hard to do!

  30. Areli Delong on May 25, 2022 at 8:41 pm

I just order some of your seeds from your etsy store. Can’t wait! Blessings.

  34. S. Lee Mccauley on May 25, 2022 at 8:47 pm

I hope everyone starts planning for some medicinal herbs now. Remember some dont replicate with seeds or are way harder to anyway.
I think that herbal seeds may be as hard to get next year as vegetable seeds got this year.

A huge cardboard box came with new freezer. I’m thinking box fort. Or shadow puppet theater.

Hello I was just on your etsy page and you do not ship to Canada. Also, do you harvest leaves and sell them, if not would you consider it? I love these herbs, but not sure how they will grow in my climate.

  39. N S on May 25, 2022 at 8:50 pm

What timing! Here I am…listening to this while chopping my carrots…and manage to chop right down on my index finger through the nail and into the nail bed. (Husband got a new knife sharpener) Arggg! Anyhow, then it popped into my head that I had seen some yarrow coming up in my garden bed, so I went and grabbed some to stop the bleeding so I could finish up these carrots. I think I’ll let that plant stay put this year.

  40. Ericca with 2 C's on May 25, 2022 at 8:51 pm

Do you have any advice for rhubarb? I was given a chunk of my Gram’s a couple years ago and at that time it had very small leaves. It still keeps growing small leaves. I remember these plants having HUGE leaves and good stalks when I was a teen and she was caring for them, but before she moved from the farm she wasn’t able to care for them so they were left to their own. Is there anything you can recommend I do to rejuvenate the plant so I can harvest it someday?

  41. Acantha on May 25, 2022 at 8:51 pm

    You’re easily my favorite channel

  42. Catherine Fletcher on May 25, 2022 at 8:52 pm

Absolutely love you 😊 not only are you so down to earth, your knowledge is phenomenal. You genuinely care about others and obviously yourself, you look fabulous, your skin is incredibly flawless ( would love your secret) . Everything you talk about is easy to understand. I truly enjoy your YouTube videos and will continue to watch you, learn and grow. I’m looking forward to seeing what seeds you have for sale as well. I was watching a few videos late last night til early this morning lol Today I’m making a journal of everything I learn and keep it handy, as I’m aging I’m extremely forgetful, to a point it’s annoying as upsetting. I wanted to ask you about your dehydrator. Now, the one you use , is it the same one that you have linked to amazon? Just wanted to make sure I’m purchasing the right products. Thanks for your help and time 🙏🐝✌️

What about the herb Mugwort for sleep and muscle relaxation. Heard it is affective against virus and malaria?

  45. Louise Hondel on May 25, 2022 at 8:56 pm

Viruses are a sign that something is wrong. They are not the cause of disease.
