Pool noodles cut to 2" work well instead of net cups and hydroton. I cut the two inch, then slice the side and roll it up like a cinnamon roll. Master blend is the way to go. Keep up the great hydroponics work.
Are the plastic totes food grade plastic 🇨🇦❤️
You can also cut up a pool noodle. That will hold your plants and easy to clean. It’s a nightmare to clean used clay pebbles.
My mom is trying to understand how to grow
Would love an update on some of the plants in the kratky systems a year later!
Love your video. Thanks so much.
What fertilizer do you use on your plants in the high tunnel?
How often do you change the hydroponic solution/clean the barrel, thanks,
temperature so cold there?
Hello..it’s interesting.i love doing this too.
Thanks your inspiring video.
Think growing veggies in totes sounds like a good idea but my concern is
What about the oil that goes into the plastic to make the totes. ?
Can one claim its organic because of the oil factor.?
I’m also wondering if yr plans are mostly in shade. ?
Great information. Thank you . " Do you have to change the water? " How long ?
I recommend you paint the white lid of the 5-gallon bucket or cover the lid with foil to prevent algae.
How often do you change your water?
You really helped me, so thank you!
😍😍😍💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Do you stop your peppers that way they are supposed to bush out and become a bush rather than growing too tall. Thanks
Thank you for sharing your hydroponics experiment that you have worked on..
It will really help especially those who are beginners..
Happy planting. Happy growing.
More blessings to come😇💚
I picked lettuce off the window for 3 months with nothing but well water. No nutrients added at all.
what do you add to the water in order to allow the vegetables to grow ?
thanks
Hey! Are you running pumps in those buckets / totes? I couldnt see.
Thank you sharing! I have an Areo garden but it’s not that big. I’m going to try making the hydroponic system. So awesome
Do you change the water at anytime?
Hey Daniel how ofter do you add nutrients to you cucumbers in your hydroponics
Nice!!
Do I need more than the 3set of nutrients for 2 marijuana plants ?
Bella is only being friendly chill out
great video. Ni one showed how to harvest, when and how to keep the plant producing..
thanks
Checked again for the fertilizer. I noticed you have very healthy plants. Thanks again.
Aquaponics requires fish to grow plants. Kratky method is how you grow without air or water pumps. Look up dr kratky he has a way to pump butrient water to only 1 inch or 2 inch so you plants have air roots. You can also look up keep on growing. He shows how anyone can grow easily with the dr kratky method
Try placing plastic tub sandwiched between straw bales or wrap in burlap, so sun doesn’t degrade as fast the plastic but it helps keep water from getting too heated.
what size hole saw cutter did you use?
This is one of the best vids I’ve watched on this. Thank you!!!!! Makes me want to start right now
Congrats for growing your own food. Self-sufficient vegetables are a great way t heathier. I believe in soil-grown,’
but have a lot of reservations about growing in water. I believe that soil is the natural way to grow. By definition, organic
produce is only grown in soil. However our USDA does not support that definition. It allows many hydroponic growers
to label what they grow organic, not label it as hydroponic, or reveal what medium the vegetables are grown in. Rock
wool is typical as a medium, but it is really toxic and reused over and over. In addition, it is legal for growers to use
substances like fish sludge in their hydroponic systems, if the USDA syas they can, yet NOT LIST THIS FACT ANYWHERE.
I have noticed hydroponic veggies are taking over the produce section. The tomato, cukes, lettuces, peppers and other
veggies look too perfect and have very little taste (or nutrition). Real vegetables are grown in soil, and no veggies should
be labeled as "organic" unless they are grown in real soil. Adding liquid nutrients to water is not soil. Thats’ my opinion. Peace.
Hi…im so much interested to see your garden…..i live in New York….I want to live outside the city and change my profession ….i like farming
Are you changing out the water/fertilizer mix or do you just leave it and let the plants grow in the tubs?
Thanks to sharing your video i will try
Hi Bella! We love you!
Awesome!!!!🤗
Super sir
Oh awesome veggies bein grown up just nearby the kitchen!
My strawberries are doing wonderful in my stack planter however it gets morning sun and sun until about 5 pm.
Can you grow carrots on those totes? Could you let the head of a carrot sprout and put in a cup with the clay rocks? Thanks, I’m new to your site!
Thank you so much for the information/inspiration! I will start on Hydroponics and vertical gardening :))
