Growing Niche Herbs To Sell For Maximum Profit In An Inexpensive DYI Greenhouse – Off Grid Living

Which herbs and vegetables should you grow to get the maximum orders and profit? I interview the expects from Kachina Farm’s in Rincon Georgia who cracked the code. They share what they learned and also how to keep your costs down by building a low cost greenhouse and hoop house. Learn how these herb farmers specialized in selling to farm to table restaurants. This is good information to know for off grid living.

Try coarse cornmeal sprinkled around the plant stems for cutworms.

Looks easy and inexpensive. Great organic green house operation!
Did you install any fans for circulation, water spray timer, any heater for winter etc.?

Can you share some challenges and problems?

Specialized in organic fruits and vegetables for high end restaurants… using a DIY high tunnel built with treated wood? Maybe I missed something but I thought the use of treated wood with soil contact was a no-no with organic certification.

Was interested, until I heard him say treated wood, should not use treated wood around any garden, those chemicals can and will leach into that soil
