I’ve produced several videos on home-related subjects, so I thought I’d take this opportunity to talk about something I’m very passionate about. I love being a home inspector, but I also love spending time in my garden. Many new homeowners have never had a lawn before, let alone a garden, and starting from scratch can be a daunting prospect.
I like your recommendation of growing flowers with your veggies. The problem with beekeeping is that it can put competitive pressure on our essential native pollinators, plus honeybees can be an expensive nuisance. One of my neighbors had to pay $3k to have them gingerly removed from a structure on his property, which seems silly, but he was threatened with fines otherwise.
Nice video! I believe cross-pollination is only an issue if you’re harvesting the seeds (exception is corn). Shouldn’t affect that year’s harvest, right?
