Gardening Tools – Repair & Restoration
Gardening Tools – Repair & Restoration
In this video I do some garden tool restoration and repairs in order to get a set of functioning tools I can use to cut down some trees, bushes and shrubbery so that we can extend our lawn. Featuring a pair of vintage Carl Kammerling shears, a spade / shovel, a fork plus some super hot winter gardening action!

Hi Keith, realy great to see some positive recycling. A couple of ferrules might have been a nice touch, just to reduce the chance of splitting and finish off the handles.
Keith why didn’t you use your Milwaukee chainsaw which you showed us in vlog 12?
So sad…you should plant more than just Grass…check the Hortus-Netzwerk Germany for ideas…
The restoration part is great nevertheless.
Hat and coat stand
HI YES IT’S THE HAT STAND
Hat and coat stands!
Long live the hat and coat stands!!
Coat racks. I see you still have the window blinds. Are they still doing the job? Great job Sir
Gotta love those hat and coat stands, the gift that keeps on giving
Good idea to get rid of the pampas grass, you might have had the neighbours round….. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/shortcuts/2017/may/31/pampas-grass-secret-symbol-swingers-turn-off-sales-plummeting
ผมเป็นคนไทย🇹🇭นะครับผมเข้ามาชมคลิปพี่👋👍💝
Omnipresent hat and coat stands !
Good to see you still have the Oak from those coat stands.
Coat stand Oak for the win
how many hat and coat stands did you get? are they breeding? lol
Coat stand, yes still enjoying your videos. I am very interested in your seemingly ever changing tool selection.
The holes in the handle looked pretty off centre?
Nice restoration though.
How’s Dylan getting on?
Good refurb on those old tools, mate 👍🏽
That lathe was next level
Team hat and coat rack reporting in! 😃
I recognize those from the coat stands.

Sorry to be "that guy" mate, but it’s really dangerous to raise a mattock above your head. They should never be raised higher than your shoulders. Unlike an axe, say, where a lose head will fly off away from the user, a loose mattock head will slide down the handle towards the user.
Very informative video. Thanks for sharing.🙏
Coatrack!
The Hat and Coat stands.
Coat stand!
took a break… got bored… made a great video.
Hats off to you Keith keep up the good work your videos are always a must watch!
coat stand
Those coat stands are like Triggers broom 🤔
those hangers are endless wood supply
Never ending supply of oak hat and coat stands! I’ve started rewatching your old videos again lately and watched the parquet table top this morning
Hat and coat stands, 😂
It’s good you got rid of the pampas grass it can be lethal for cats, Dylan will thank you for it
Nice! Yes, I remember you harvesting those coat stands. I’m a long term subscriber I guess… Keep up the good work.
THE OAK HAT & COAT STANDS RISE AGAIN!
Coat stands to the rescue lol.
Looking forward to you making a new conservatory 😉
Wow… that hurt to watch. That was some beautiful landscaping. Those bushes were so well defined and blended wonderfully.
That being said, awesome job on restoring the tools.
The hat stands. That and the snooker cues!?
Hat and coat stand, I’d like to see a video special on these one day.
You could save the wood from the small tree for woodworking / woodturning- it’s not that big but you could maybe make something small out of it
The grass. It looks like a Formium. Anyway they tend to have a shallow but intense root bowl. My suggestion is to get under it and pull it like a tooth.
I chuckled when you pulled out that distinctive looking piece of scrap wood!
Nice job Keith. Bit of diesel and a match would have seen to that pampas grass….
table legs
the never ending hat and coat stands for the win!
How many of those coat stands have you got left???! What a good find!
Then hat and coat stands live on
Hat stand hat stand!
