Gardening Outdoors in Zone 3. . . In April?!?!
Gardening Outdoors in Zone 3. . . In April?!?!
It’s a warmer than average spring, and with some smart plant choices–the kind that can tolerate cool temperatures– and some season extending covers and clothes, I’m able to save space under my grow lights and send some plants outdoors to grow.

Wonderful! We are watching from Gander Newfoundland and Labrador Canada π¨π¦ !
I left brussel sprouts, broccoli, and Swiss chard in my vegetable garden last year and I was amazed that they made it all the way up in till Spring! they eventually bolted just because they were just growing on for too long but I was so surprised! I’m on zone 6. I’m just now discovering all of the cold tolerant things, I’m so excited to start experimenting!

I have been binge watching your channel first year flower farmer in Northern Minnesota.
Greetings from calgary. I have sprouted my ranunuclus and anemones and they have about 6β of growth. I recently bought a small (picture four shelves for 4 flats on either side) walk in greenhouse. Can I start hardening off the Ranunuclus and anemones in there now? Can it be -5 at night and I leave them in there now or is it too soon.?
Great info from zone 4 Alberta we are having plus 16 today really this year seems good and nice little helpers there.

Zone 5a and have been wanting to take out my Ranunculus, but keep chickening out, lol!
I was reading on "Stems Flower Farm" site and they say that Lisianthus and Snapdragons can be transplanted once soil can be worked… That’s before last frost date isn’t it? I only have 10 Lusianthus babies that have survived my seed starting and am worried to transplant them this early! Do you have any experience with putting Lisianthus out this early? Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks from eastern Canada! ππΈ
Iβm glad I found your channel! really enjoying your content π± USDA zone 5. I had to run outside last night to cover my frost tender babies last night. βοΈ
