I like that technique of drilling an irrigation "sleeve" under the walkway.

too expensive for a tiny landscape. should make a less budget instead. if gonna put wood chips as mulching. there is no need for pde plastic beneath. it also more greener and worm 🐛 🪱 friendly. should make the ecosystem alive in any landscape.

  8. Sherry Catanese on October 26, 2021 at 10:27 am

Hi Laura, do you always use the weed barrier?

It looks really nice but what happens when all those plant grow big? Do you keep them pruned small? Otherwise, seems they will grow over each other.

Needs lots of hardwork and physical fitness. Not my thing sadly. Well done guys.

  36. Valerie Hill on October 26, 2021 at 10:58 am

The fabric does nothing for the soil. I ripped out all of my landscape fabric after a couple of years. The weeds attach to it, and it doesn’t allow the natural breakdown of the mulch to mix with the soil.

  37. 精萃篇 on October 26, 2021 at 10:58 am

You will regret several years later you dig a hole under the concrete slack. The concrete will sink down.

    Beautiful

  45. Gregarious Accountant on October 26, 2021 at 11:11 am

Is it crazy to think drip line would be best placed under the weed fabric?

  46. 5mattcolour on October 26, 2021 at 11:12 am

Interested why you decided to put what looks like soil and an organic mulch over a synthetic weed barrier sheet. Surely the soil and mulch defeats the purpose of the weed barrier as the mulch is going to break down over a couple of years, and weeds are going to grow like crazy. You’re going to have to pull up the sheet and redo it all. Makes more sense to use either a stone mulch or organic mulch but do away with the sheet and do some weeding every now and then.

  47. Cris tin Simplynigreto on October 26, 2021 at 11:12 am

    Beautiful house and flowers 🌹❤️

  48. Clare Fletcher on October 26, 2021 at 11:12 am

Weed barrier … a amateurs mistake. Your plants will not root or take water on properly which will stunt their growth and you will still have as many weeds as if you dudn’t uss it
