The jackfruit seeds can be eaten as well. As a child we would roast or boil them, they are like nuts, very yummy.
I bought 1 today too a cempedak feasting on it now
That’s not a pure Cempedak. That’s Cempejack hybrid with Jackfruit (probably 75:25). Pure Cempedak has smooth skin
So gorgeous and so jealous of the artocarpus!
I haven’t had one for over 40 years…yummo!
