I’m from Brazil, I’m sorry for the spelling errors and agreement, I’m using google translator.
Speaking about the drainage system, the myth of the stones in the bottom of the pot remains very strong in Brazil, including among college students.
What is the best material I could use so that the earth does not go through the pot holes? A material that will last for a long time …

Thank you very much for the video. God bless you.

I am looking at you from Trinidad and Tobago. I just found your channel. I absolutely love how you fill one bed with a particular crop. It also looks so beautiful. Other gardeners I’ve seen have interspersed their plants. I enjoyed looking at your garden.i wish mine could look like yours and be as successful as yours.

You have raised beds in the open. I can’t do that..too many critters..but I have a greenhouse. All of these will grow nicely thru zone 7 winters..and am doing this now!

Can I direct sow these seeds in my garden bed or would I need to have seedlings done up first then transplant? (I am located in Minnesota)

What a lovely garden! I’m just getting my Fall seedlings going here in Marietta, GA. I’ll be sowing carrots and beets outside next week. I love that we can have such an abundant Fall/Winter garden here in Georgia!

What area of the country are you in? Would these be good choices for Wisconsin? Good to know what zone so people know

  17. Meredith on October 28, 2021 at 11:16 am

We watch you on Growing A Greener World and follow your YouTube channel and love your show,. I love how your garden and beds are laid out. Do you have a video that talks about how you set up your garden and made your beds? Also what soil you put in your beds? We are going to start from scratch as the weeds have taken over my garden and I can’t get control of them. I sure would love to see how you set yours up and any tricks you have for keeping the weeds out. I have resisted putting stone around my beds but am now considering it. I’m your neighbor in Duluth, GA

How do you keep the caterpillars/worms off your broccoli? I gree some in spring and lost 2 heads (I only grew 3!) to them. Trying again this fall by sprinkling Dipel. However yours dont appear to be sprinkled. 😉 We are in the same garden zone.

Hi Joe, what size logs do you use to create your raised bed?

  24. DJMovit on October 28, 2021 at 11:27 am

Does this work for Northern gardens in upstate New York? We’ve already had frost and temperatures into the 30’s at night.
I tried carrots into our winter and they were frozen in raised beds. I would love to have stuff growing into the fall season.

  25. John Bershak on October 28, 2021 at 11:30 am

Great results. Any reason you didn’t include peas in your fall garden?

That’s exciting. I’ve given up on the garden this year. I say see you next year. I guess I missed out on some edibles. I’ll put that in my garden journal for next year. Thanks for sharing.

Your garden is quite developed for the end of August. When was this planted, or maybe I should ask, when was this recorded?
Very good choices for a fall garden, and nice video.

Great video with absolutely none of the BS fill that so many others feel the need to insert. Great presentation, great energy, great suggestions. Thanks
