Don't Spend More for Organic Seeds Until You See This

People often ask why I don’t care if my seeds are certified organic. As long as the seeds I am using are heirloom and non-gmo, I really do not care about if they are organic or not. I will explain why.

What you think about hybrid seeds

  2. Tyler Allen on January 26, 2022 at 6:37 pm

What if you grow a GMO crop using organic methods 🥴

  3. A. N. G. on January 26, 2022 at 6:38 pm

Drink the water then. Oh.. no ok Exactly

  4. Precious Metal Head on January 26, 2022 at 6:39 pm

The chemicals are only one component. GMO isn’t diluted, it’s in the dna of the tomato.

  5. Robert Gibbons on January 26, 2022 at 6:41 pm

Late to comment on this but another major point to make is healthier bodies are able to expel more toxins – as are healthy plants. Organically home grown crops are so much healthier that your plants and bodies are able to expel that much more toxins

    Great analogy demo

  9. My Mobile Homestead on January 26, 2022 at 6:43 pm

I do the same, by the time that one seed is grown the inorganicness of the seed becomes highly diluted.

  10. Bilal Hassan on January 26, 2022 at 6:44 pm

    Liked the way you described
    Thanks alot

  11. Tristan Beligan on January 26, 2022 at 6:48 pm

Don’t organic seeds also tend to be more disease and pest resistant?

  12. cshans07 x on January 26, 2022 at 6:48 pm

I can’t help but think you’re not qualified to say this is correct information if presented to professionals.

  13. DeliriArt on January 26, 2022 at 6:49 pm

    No.

Chemicals affect the genetic expression of that seed. They actually damage their DNA making the plant lack nutrients and more susceptible to disease and pests.

I also prefer to support companies that help the environment instead of putting my money in the pockets of those who just don’t care.

Every time we buy a chemically laden seed, we are pouring harmful junk into the earth. It is just like what you are doing in your demonstration – you are going through the process of dilution while dumping petroleum-based dye onto your lawn. It is still damaging, even if not to you directly.

The cost of organic seed is not that much different than the non-organic ones. So I don’t think it is necessary to sacrifice quality to save a few cents.

Great video! I wasn’t able to get all organic seeds for my garden this year and I was a little disappointed in myself but after seeing this video I feel much better about it! Thanks for sharing!

  15. Brian Gadbois on January 26, 2022 at 6:50 pm

You are talking about chemicals in one seed, one tomato. Those chemicals get stored in your own body. And as you look at all the food you eat with minute traces, over time, years, decades, lifetime, it’s not so insignificant.

  16. Light Ning on January 26, 2022 at 6:53 pm

    interesting experiment

    Great information thank you!!!

  20. badboyfriend21123540 on January 26, 2022 at 6:55 pm

I can not eat those chemicals let in the plant. the point is not eat the chemicals, your body can’t properly them ingest. they go to your blood, muscles, and bones can cause all types of sickness.

Hello Luke. I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you that I enjoy your channel. Father, The Creator, made it possible for me to see your beautiful results you are allowed to have in gardening.

I have been given the opportunity many times to view my future and I can say to you we are in a prearrangement plan. Every second of everyday is prearranged for each of us including Father, who has the most intensive job of anyone, not God who is an entirely different spirit pretending to be the creator in this prearrangement plan.

Father allowed me to view your channel many times long before you had a channel-even before your birth. This is not uncommon for me to be given information pertaining to others in this plan.

As I have always stated many times, nothing occurs by chance. The Worlds Plan is in existence for a limited time and we are on a schedule to return to our former position prior to the planning stage of The Worlds Plan.

    Happy 4th. of July.

My husband will be glad to hear this….Never can know what is what people confuse it up so much…I was even told the chemicals/pesticides will remain in the seeds If that is wrong then I"ve wasted my money for sure on that! Urgh! I just bought some of your seeds BTW! You have good reviews but I’m in 8a 8b range hope I got the right stuff wasn’t sure about zones!

I recently found your 87 year old seed video series and really enjoyed it! Now that you are a year out from it I would love to see a video on your reflections and are you still growing your Crimson Reds and the White Radish for that matter. Keep up the good work I have learned alot.

  27. Debbie Zimmerman on January 26, 2022 at 7:09 pm

Why not GMO seeds? I was opposed to them also until I did a 20/20 research on them for the FDA. They can ward off diseases and pests. It’s a great thing for the farmer these days. Even my grandson who is in his Junior year in high school ask me why everyone is so against them. His favorite subject is Science and he’s being taught the benefits that GMOs are having in our society. I had no answer then and still I just don’t see the harm in GMOs. I love to garden for my families food and nutrition, on a small scale but this year the pests were horrible. . I live in NC near the SC border and I have had many hornworms and other pest to invade my crops until I spotted them and removed them. It’s really heartbreaking to walk out in the garden and spot a hornworm that has already eaten the top of one of my tomato plant. I took him way down in the woods and let him go. Anyway please tell me if you would ever consider GMO seeds. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Start organic and SAVE YOUR OWN SEEDS.

  29. killuminate peacefulness on January 26, 2022 at 7:10 pm

    Thanks for explaining this

  30. FreelyAshley on January 26, 2022 at 7:10 pm

Thanks for the experiment! Im trying to learn as much as I can about organic vs. non organic seeds. It would be cool if someone did an actual lab experiment where they test hundreds of seeds both organic and non to see what heavy metals and toxins are present. But there are still things we cant control. Even though we may be gardening with organic practices doesnt mean that aluminum and other heavy metals arent falling from the sky from chemtrails. Or when your neighnors treat thier lawn, all that gets blown into your garden. Haha there is only so much you can control. But this does raise the question, what are the qaulifications to grow certified organic crops for seeds? Does the seed company have to disclose to you thier gardening practices?

  31. Brooklyne Marie on January 26, 2022 at 7:12 pm

I love your gardening videos but this one is highly disappointing. I garden organic for a multitude of reasons but sorry you will NOT convince me to buy genetically modified seeds. Did you know these seeds have animals genetics in them? No thanks! 🤢

  32. Gardiner's Pets on January 26, 2022 at 7:15 pm

    awesome advice!

  33. Caerbanog Interrupted on January 26, 2022 at 7:17 pm

your example doesn’t speak for how dangerous the chemicals are in the first place. even in your final example, the traces alone may be so harmful as to justify buying only organic. further, what you’ve suggested doesn’t speak for cumulative amounts of built up poison. organic or nothing.

  34. Don Tipping on January 26, 2022 at 7:18 pm

THIS IS TOTAL BS! You pay no attention whatsoever to the environment where the seeds are grown and farm workers are exposed to toxic chemicals (perhaps you don’t care about other people and organisms?) . Further, as a plant breeder and organic seed grower, I know from direct experience that plants adapt to their environment over time and that chemically grown seeds will perform best with similar cultural treatment. Also, organically grown seeds and plant selection contribute significantly to how they grow and perform in similar environments. Your argument is like saying, "well you might as well buy the cheapest food available because it doesn’t really matter." Perhaps you should act like a scientist of ag. researcher and perform a variety trial of organic vs. non-oraganic seeds and then see how it works out before you continue to distribute complete misinformation and a waste of our time.with .

  35. Michael Levels on January 26, 2022 at 7:19 pm

When you receive your seed do you grow it organically or use chems

  36. Organic Me on January 26, 2022 at 7:20 pm

Genetically modified organisms "GMO", is mot organic. its DNA is different. So it is not the same, just looks like it.

  37. Deb Cambria on January 26, 2022 at 7:22 pm

What a relief! I was in a panic

  38. Rachael J on January 26, 2022 at 7:22 pm

I TOTALLY agree with you Luke, AWESOME demo!!!

  39. Aloha from Hawaii on January 26, 2022 at 7:23 pm

The main reason to buy organic seeds is to support organic growers. The more organic growers, the less the use of the chemicals impacts the planet. That being said, I am about to become a customer, because heirloom/non-GMO are also my values. Plus, your seeds are affordable. Thanks!

  40. Lynn Smith on January 26, 2022 at 7:23 pm

That was a great demonstration. My son is an agronomist with commercial farming. He has tried to explain this to people but they just don’t get it. I shared this video with him so maybe he can use it to help make his point. Love from NC

  41. Classical Doggoes on January 26, 2022 at 7:24 pm

Gmo literally creates pesticides within the cells of the plant…. and the biggest source of seeds are pumped from the mega wealthy businesses giving you what ever seeds they want. What does that mean? It means they can manipulate the seeds to do what ever they want to you because there is nothing forbidding them from stopping those in power from controlling and altering the population the way they want.

  42. Kelli Fortier on January 26, 2022 at 7:24 pm

I know I asked this question in the comments of a past video, and I did think the same thing. Thank you for answering/commenting on this. I still love your channel and just placed my first of many orders with you guys ;)! If my doctor didnt state that what I eat has to be organic for health reasons I would be right along with you. SO when my body is healed I definitely wont be as meticulous of getting organic seeds.

  43. Kanada da Yaşamak on January 26, 2022 at 7:27 pm

you dont get the why organic matters. its not about chemicals peoples dont like its about experiments done in seeds. are you able to regrow from seeds and get same fruits result?

  44. Dill Pickle on January 26, 2022 at 7:28 pm

My mind is not changed. I’m feeding fish, birds, and other animals

  45. Brooklyne Marie on January 26, 2022 at 7:30 pm

Also you care about your food but not your planet? 🤦🏻‍♀️

  46. brad notachance on January 26, 2022 at 7:33 pm

This proves nothing😂 chemicals accumulate in your body as u agree by this flawed experiment . Look up Monsanto then reply. Look up koanga seeds and get back to me .

  47. Cannabis origanum on January 26, 2022 at 7:33 pm

So much BS and errors in this, don’t know where to even start. EVERYTHING IS A "CHEMICAL"!!! Typical for this channel.

  48. A New Life Homestead on January 26, 2022 at 7:34 pm

Do you harvest the seeds from the plants you grow in your garden? And are those the seeds yoy sell in your store?

  49. brad notachance on January 26, 2022 at 7:34 pm

Organic or heirloom seeds are better because they have a higher nutrient content and are not geniticly modified . Also you will get a true plant and can use the seed year after year which is sustainable. Look up Monsanto and you will realise the evil that is roundup ready seeds. You will have to change your organic status if you are using non organic seeds. I am a fan of your channel but this is disappointing.😀

  50. Hayley on January 26, 2022 at 7:35 pm

Thanks for taking the time to contribute some proportionality to people’s concerns about pesticides and other chemicals. Understanding chemical hazards is extremely complex but as a prerequisite, everyone needs to understand the concept of concentration and dilution. That being said, though while I agree that a chemically treated seed doesn’t pose a chemical hazard to a person consuming the finished product, I wonder what other effects it may have. For example, many seeds are treated with fungicides to prevent rot prior to germination. Could these same chemicals inhibit a plant’s ability to connect to surrounding myccorhizae, which are in the same kingdom as fungal pathogens? Just a thought.
