Good info. Just watched a couple other YouTube videos and they were recommending $700-$1200 grow lights. Im just growing about 15 seedlings in the corner of my bedroom, I think your recommendation makes a lot more sense.

Wow… I only bought one, after seeing your video now I think I might need more.
How long do you keep your seedlings under the grow light before you move them and after you move them do you still use some type of light?
I’m definitely trying to keep vegetables and other plants alive in the greenhouse throughout the Winter. This will be my 1st time using a light, last Winter all my plants died in the greenhouse.
    I’m in Tx.

I’m too lazy to go pickup these lights I ordered so I Amazon prime a few clip on wands for some seedlings. You inquire here and I’ll let you know how it goes. Seedlings don’t need much but I’ll see how they fair in later growth stages compared.

I already bought a "2000w" $20 grow light are they completely useless. What’s wrong with them.

  12. 喵星人的花园 on January 19, 2022 at 6:33 pm

I see you have 6 LED lights here, if each one is 1000w, there will be 6000w. Then the power bill will be huge. Am I right?

  13. shane kearsley on January 19, 2022 at 6:35 pm

when it comes to cannabis it like growing anything else. You need 200-400 pffd to start and then 600-1500 for bloom/ flower and want something that pulls 650w + from wall

If you need something for your seedlings and leafy greens Amazon has the UPGRADED clip on 4 wand by ONE seller for $12 dropped in a day, others are twice the price. I ordered two with red/blue color change because $12 but have another white was $16 to start my hydro veggies. I ordered them because they’re USB and A/C adapters with timers and 6 dimming modes. Either way they’ll come in handy being 5v. That’s the electronics geek in me gotta have multi charge ability. May have to solar power so low energy consumption is key.

Okay question, just found you I have my "YouTube" led full spectrum lights. It has a Diffuser, and ECT, Can u use those to grow plants or supplement some warmth and sun just for regular house plant’s & growing seedlings?? Just subbed TIA..

My issue is a don’t have a huge set up. I literally grow seedlings on a tray on a table in my bedroom in a shared house. All the great lights are meant for people who have cats style set ups but I can only use free standing of table style lights which seem to have a really limited radius of efficacy!

If someone is only doing seedlings with their light and putting them outside once thay are big enough to transplant, you don’t even need a specific grow light – you can use any light that has two necessary paramters… Those are 1. LUMENS (brightness) and 2. KELVIN (color-temperature). The Lumens needs to be between 1500 to 2000 LUMENS. The Kelvin needs to between 4500 to 6500 KELVIN. The Lumens and Kelvin should be written on the package of the bulb/fitting.
If you have those two parameters correct, the light will grow seedlings (only seedlings) really well. Be sure to start with the light about 2 inches above the plants, then raise the lights as the plants grow bigger.

2-3500lumen 5-6500kelvin LEDs will flower and bloom cannabis beautifully. I can’t say how well below 2000 lumen or 5000 kelvin but I assure you those parameters make frosty ladies.

How far away should they be from seedlings?

They work great . I kept my citrus bushes alive in the garage during the winter months.
