  10. Heather Bouchard on February 8, 2022 at 10:21 pm

Thank you for this. I just started searching for ways to garden indoors and found you. I was depressed thinking I’m doomed to apartment living and would have to forgo my dreams of homesteading. I’m still a little down because I really can’t homestead in my apartment. I have zero outside space. No chickens or goats for me. However, at least I now see that I can harvest my own herbs. Thank you.

I just pulled out my daughter’s old shoe rack to repurpose it. It’s canvas. I’m just trying to decide how to keep water fro getting everywhere.

It looks great, but would not use plastic. We need to rid the planet of plastics…the idea is great, let’s find an alternative. ♥️

Tryinbg to find a shore organizer with pockets as big as those and having a difficult time locating them. Suggestions? I about wore out Amazon looking, and can’t find that size.

  20. Miriam on February 8, 2022 at 10:32 pm

The idea of repurposing the item for a vertical garden – yes. Plastic and gravel at the bottom – no.

  23. Jen Rose on February 8, 2022 at 10:35 pm

How is the plastic food grade tho?

  24. swizzleproxi on February 8, 2022 at 10:36 pm

Super idea but why put all the holes in bag? aren’t all the stone’s at bottom enough for capturing and keeping the water seperate from roots?

  25. Ashley Houston on February 8, 2022 at 10:36 pm

I know I’m late, but gravel contributes to root rot. Just use holes and soil. Mine is growing nicely.

  26. Kauser Fatima on February 8, 2022 at 10:38 pm

Thanks for video! Especially on the tip on which row to place certain herbs, makes total sense..I’ll probably opt to use a fabric shoeholder but it’s a great concept!! Thank you!!

  33. Malia Lindsey on February 8, 2022 at 10:50 pm

Alright Aunty I have a question…I have a cloth or fabric organizer I would like to use, should I spray it to protect it with a protective seal and what would be best since I will consume this…or do I simply plant and go…

  34. Sandra Crockett on February 8, 2022 at 10:50 pm

Thank-You, well done, and very informative. It gives me a lot of ideas to start with!

What’s nice about using the plastic is if you have a wood wall it’ll protect it from all the water.
