Cut Flower Garden for Beginners – From Seed to Bouquet

Cut Flower Garden for Beginners – From Seed to Bouquet

Arranging flowers seems easy, till you go to do it and realize that what you have made just doesn’t have the look you were imagining. There are so many reasons this could have gone wrong, perhaps you are missing a critical element such as filler flowers, or you cut the stems too short leaving yourself with less vertical space to work with. Maybe you failed at growing them in the first place. Get your life back on track by watching this video as Serina breaks down her 6 step process to better bouquets. There is literally nothing you could do with your time that is more productive than watch my wife talk about flowers, so get to it!

Why dont you sell flowers by the stem and let customers make their own boutiques. Less work for you.

What does your delivery/setup look like when you go to the market? I guess you have a trailer and somehow strap everything down? Do you bring extra water? I’m interested to know more and that would make a great video, like this one is!

I love your garden! Your husband made me so sad in this. If there are unsold Bouquets you could give them to a nursing home maybe?

  20. Miss Informed on November 8, 2021 at 12:35 pm

Wonderful, you have vision, talent, ability to work, plan and follow though and on top of that you’re able to present it all very professionally. Outstanding!

We are looking to add cut flower to our farm next year to help with pollinators for our vegtables and also add them to our display at the farmers markets. Thanks for all the info I know nothing about flowers but I am collecting info and this was my first stop.

  23. Mikhaela QuiΓ±ola on November 8, 2021 at 12:36 pm

How do you prevent mites and other damaging pests from ravaging your plants? I don’t want to spray anything (organic or not) due to the fear of hurting my pollinator friends

  24. Ransith Rusith on November 8, 2021 at 12:37 pm

    Seminar,
You’ve gotten better arranging flowers and color combinations. Who do you follow online for inspiration?

  26. TiggyStardust on November 8, 2021 at 12:41 pm

Greetings from Toronto, Canada. I had to pause the video @1:35 to make this comment and let your cat know I saw his black tail and I acknowledge his presence. He is so adorable!!!!! Ok now I’ll go back to watch the rest of the video and try to focus hard to learn something from you. By the way I love, love, love your cut flower garden. If I lived in the neighbourhood I’d come over and say hello and buy a bouquet from your farm.

  27. All Things Alicia on November 8, 2021 at 12:41 pm

Love this! In your more recent videos I think I’ve seen you wrap them in brown paper? I’d love to see how you do that and still keep them in water. Have you ever thought about doing an online course for aspiring flower farmers? Might be good income during the winter months.
