Well done! You killed every living beeing and replaced nature with lifeless stones and plactic lawn.

    Amazing job well done

That client is an idiot. If you have the cash to make such a cool garden I’m sure he has some to hire a Gardner for some real lawn..

This video just appeared on the German Gardens of Horror (or Greying) site. Interrsting how people want to get rid of life in their gardens. A contemporary fad, mainly in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, is to cover the entire front yard with landscape fabric and stones on top. Much like a railway embankment without tracks. Not even outdoor living rooms or parking, only to prevent it from looking untidy. Worth a look at the pictures:

I hope that it is okay to have a Different opinion. I Think it is a shame to english Garden culture. As long as you declare it as garden …

  22. Yvonne Mosel on December 29, 2021 at 5:32 pm

  24. oliviersavoie69 on December 29, 2021 at 5:34 pm

That’s not a garden! Where are the flowers, the green, nature? There is a time in architecture that built the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, and the Barbican, it is called: brutalism.

  25. _S1XR_ on December 29, 2021 at 5:35 pm

How much did that cost in total if you dont mind?

  26. The Utility Arborist on December 29, 2021 at 5:37 pm

We want Eric to transform our garden!

  31. bahons72 on December 29, 2021 at 5:43 pm

Certainly low maintenance, but very nature unfriendly. A creepy crawly no go zone. Living things unwelcome. However, all credit to Mr Barker, he puts his heart and soul into his work.

  32. S Coyle on December 29, 2021 at 5:44 pm

  42. Lorraine Coulson on December 29, 2021 at 5:53 pm

Beautifully done but it’s a shame there’s no trees or shrubs to soften the fence but I suppose you have to work to the clients spec

That’s a magnificent job. I haul rock and dirt for a lot of customers here in the states. Absolute pools does that same type of stuff. I was wondering where you were going with it for a minute, but it turned out great.

  49. Michael Hermann on December 29, 2021 at 6:04 pm

Bad camera man. Constantly up and down- left and right – this makes me furious. Nevertheless, good work.
