Connecting to the plant community is so important! The plant community is such a wonderful group to be a part of and I do hope that this video is a helpful “push” to either join an online plant community, or find (or create) an in-person one!

Hi Becca! I just found your channel two days ago and I’m already loving your content and personality. My name is Nhi, I’m from Perth, Australia! I definitely agree that there’s a characteristic all plant people have, and its that we are caring grounded people who enjoy simplicity or nature. Have you done a QandA video yet? I just want to know so much more about you!

I’ll have to use it with every post!

Love this! I don’t think the city hashtag would specifically work for me. The Netherlands is too tiny I guess haha, but I definitely like the idea! Also, I’m a big fan of Facebook groups. I’m in a couple and I’ve now also traded cutting with a few people. I find them very useful as well for plant care tips and things like that.

There IS actually a house plant specific group on Facebook!! I’m actually a member. It’s a pretty good informative group. It’s called House Plant Growers, it’s a closed group tho. But I don’t see why we can’t approve new plant lovers. 😋
Also, I love the idea of meeting up with new plant lover friends! I’ll actually be attending a plant swap at my local library next month to meet new plant lovers. I’m pretty excited about that. I have lots of clippings being rooted now for it, lol.

I’m in a group called Houseplant Hobbyist on Facebook, they’re pretty funny over there 🌿 there’s no posts with tags with #leicesterindoorjungle or even #ukindoorjungle on Instagram so maybe I should start and others can join me 😆

I just created a group on facebook for houseplant advice, buying, selling, and trading in my area. It’s for the Lexington, KY area. I’m not sure if there are any fellow Kentuckians here but if so, reply to my comment and I’d love to add you!

We’re similar souls girly. I’ve had plants for years, but now I’d like to connect with other plant lover too. I’m trying to grow a plant community too. Not sure where to start, but I’m def collecting friends along the way!
