New to Gardening or new to Colorado Gardening? Tagawa’s Garden Ambassador, Luan Akin, teaches us some tips to keep in mind when gardening in our Front Range conditions. Soil, watering, fertilizing and more are covered.
Excellent video. Great content and presentation. Well done Luan!
Hope no round up was used……
Great video for the Colorado gardener. I would add: please don’t water during the day…it’s a waste of water, which is such a precious resource in our state and in our world.
Improve the soil. DONT use fertilizer or pesticide. Read Teaming with Microbes.
Are there ones I can plant also from seeds that will survive the winter freeze ? ?
I never buy plants that last one year, I don’t see the draw at all.
Thank you!
Can you give me advise on have beneficial plants indoors in CO?
The only pests i get rid of now are snails and slugs. I have lost way to many great plants to them and i got tired of it.
What evergreen shrubs do you recommend for creating a hedge (zone 4)? We tried wintergem boxwoods and didn’t love the bronzing that happened after that early frost last year 🙁
Great advice & videos. Just moved to Ridgway Co from AZ . What Perennials do you recommend that are deer & varmint resistant ? ? And can I plant them at the end of August to survive the winter ? ? Thx 😊
To me gardening is food. Cool flower tutorial though. I’ll keep searching.
