    Dude, way to go!

Nice job bro! May I offer friendly advice which I personally find from many many years of first hand experience and knowledge.. I recommend you stir/mix your nutes one at a time methodically rather than measuring & dumping all of your nutes together in your reservoir at the same time, then mixing them all together at the same time. Nutes need to be fully dissolved one at a time, or else they react strangely together in their chemical states- especially the most organic forms & brands of nutes need to be fully dissolved mixing up one at a time rather than measuring and mixing them all at once together in the reservoir as I saw you doing in this video. Hope this helps you as I personally believe that your issue originally with your plant on the left (I forgot her male name), if it’s James or Jim?.. I personally believe you started to have what’s referred to as "nutrient lock out" in the left plant showing the most originally due to not adding your nutes as I recommended. Ph will be known to fluctuate more than normally also from the nutrient lock out you had and what appears to have been mostly corrected if not fully corrected later in the grow. Unfortunately yield+quality always suffers from any issue(s) in any grow, as I’m sure you know. Hopefully info helps you out and I don’t seem like a know it all. You kicked ass in this grow FYI!

    Jim probably smoked better.

just an fyi for anybody interested…… DO NOT put your agricultural waste in the drain… you gotta find something else to do with it, like water some plants somewhere

  6. koop kooper on June 16, 2022 at 9:11 pm

Jim , James , Paul and Tyrone 😁

  7. mauricio fernandez on June 16, 2022 at 9:13 pm

I think James and Jim needed their own reservoirs. Sharing could potentially rest a no hold bar environment for the nutrients added.

If you want big buds and plants get away from dwc it’s to time consuming and Temps make the difference during the grow when it comes to the res which is a fight. I started as a dwc hydro person because some scum bag shop owner sold me a kit that looked just like urs in a rubber made storage thing with some nutes rock woll everything you need to start well it worked for a few weeks then the plants looked bad so after some research I found you really can’t grow dwc in hot places with out a chiller so my buddy opened a grow shop and 1 of the guys he hired was a grow genius and gave me the low down . What I think any hydro grower should do is grow in a tray with a drain use fabric grow bags and drip feed plants with a return from the drain to the res changing water every 1 or 2 weeks

  22. Tezzasbigbuz on June 16, 2022 at 9:29 pm

Haha the guy at the hydro shop recommended the most expensive shit

  23. NkxZomBieTriX on June 16, 2022 at 9:31 pm

Calling them "guys" and giving them Male names? Nah that’s just ridiculous!! They should only be called girls, terrible luck.

    Stressful work bro
 hope it was worth it!

  25. Benny Finklestien Fur Trapper on June 16, 2022 at 9:35 pm

I get purples with just cold water feedings and I get some really deep purples where when u look at it you think OMG this shit is going to look awesome on the jar . Well……. for so.e reason after drying for 10 days there is no purples left almost like it’s a reaction that as soon as you cut the plant goes away idk

  26. Green Cat on June 16, 2022 at 9:37 pm

  33. Eznack on June 16, 2022 at 9:46 pm

Amazing video dude, super simple, easy to follow, and tons of great information. Where did you get your lights though? I’m having trouble finding good lights that won’t break the bank

    Poor Jim

  38. ΔussieΔstronaut on June 16, 2022 at 9:49 pm

Bro. I don’t know what’s going on but you definitely buried them too low into the media. They seem very stressed that’s for sure. Hence the extreme vigorous growth and as for Jim. This could most likely be a result of poor handling during the seedling stage. This can happen from having non-sterile equipment. This transfer of disease crosses from the seed case to the first set of baby leaves which spreads to the stem and true leaves. You also disturbed the seed after placing it into the jiffy peat pellet.

As for the cup of water method. All I can recommend is leaving a seed or two in water in a light proof container or bottle over night only. Push gently on the seed if it hasn’t dropped already. When it drops. Poor it into paper towel and put into ziplock bag. Put that in a dark place and check in 24 hours and every day from there. Once cracked. Gently place seed into peat pellet or rockwool or whatever with sterile (isopropyl alcohol) tweezers with tap root down.

As for your nutrient solution. PH is extremely important. 5.8 is the target. Range is between 5.5 and 6.5.

As for your lighting. It’s burning the shit out of your plant. Heat stressed fan leaves. Shaping like a canoe is first visual evidence.

As for harvest time. Forget the colour of the pistals.

You’ll want to be inspecting the glandular trichomes for their maturity. With a pocket microscope, jewellers loop x30 – x60 is plenty.
A few stages are clear, milky then amber. Amber being the sign of degradation.

Look for some clear but mostly cloudy because this is when you’ll need to consider the flush. (Water feed only) this is done 2 weeks before harvest.

You’ll want mostly cloudy with a very few amber for harvest by then.

As for harvest. You’ll want to flush your reservoir and fill with ONLY WATER so your plants will use up all of their stored nutrients in the fan leaves other leaves etc. also degrading chlorophyll in the leaves and using the rest of the sugars.

This will give a smoother cleaner smoke.

Your roots showed signs of root rot beginning stages also. This is a clear sign of contamination, PH issues. PPM not stable and would pay to look into a course on growing. Suggesting Debacco University on YouTube or weed in a pot on YouTube to get a few pointers on growing and consuming to avoid giving yourself an infection or illness when consuming a contaminated cannabis flower.

  39. Scarpa Colombo on June 16, 2022 at 9:49 pm

Appears as too much nutes originally also as another mentioned-I agree. Primarily, too much nitrogen I believe it appeared in your video. You still did most superb! Congrats! I like the res. chiller you made!

  41. AloisPlease on June 16, 2022 at 9:51 pm

On my own first! My girls growing so diffirently to yours! Shes in very indoor pot plant condtions due to werea safe to grow with my family and neighbours so I didnt expect her to grow normally 😂 though at 1.5 feet tall at my guess her doing as well witn total harvest as Jim, im really happy with that for her size and less than ideal condtions she grew in!

  42. BulbasaurUseVinewhip on June 16, 2022 at 9:51 pm

do you grow edible foods too? growing weed would be cool but my dream is to grow my weekly amount of food week after week lol

  43. Xalli Gonzales on June 16, 2022 at 9:55 pm

this is where the misgendering began for the whole world. Obviously female plants named Jim and James. I noticed you didn’t flush. some people do and some dont. I wonder why

  44. Daniel Q on June 16, 2022 at 9:57 pm

  46. Danny Phantom on June 16, 2022 at 9:58 pm

Do you think you could’ve got more bud if you trim less during the flowering process?

  47. Spin City NYC on June 16, 2022 at 9:59 pm

Jim would have been better in his own pot. Probably a fight for root space.

When drying, You should try trimming the leaves right after cutting down the plant. Much easier than after they hang and dry. IDK, that’s what I’ve always done. For 36 yrs. TEHO. Beautiful Nugs. Do you know the Strain?. Just rooting a few Lake Tahoe OG Kush females. Never made a video. But considering it. I’m trying out a new Airo system I made. So maybe I’ll share. Thanks for your videos. Beautiful stuff brother…
