our good neighbor Japan has this incredible pitcher/hitter, Shotani!!
So I checked out that DH, the youngster Shohei, 1-4 with a 40th HR blast, pretty impressive power!
But that Ohtani kid, the starting pitcher, was phenomenal, 8 innings, 1R, 0BB, 8K, picking up the win on 90 pitches only! Wow, phenomenal!
notice how Shohei just keep adding his fastball velocity towards the late innings, that’s just incredible

Angel’s slugger of the year finally came to terms with his ace pitcher by hitting a homerun in the 8th, which was unbelievably only the second time in his 18th? outings of the season. By then, some Angel’s fans suspected there had been issues between them. In short, Shohei finally gave Ohtani a little breather in the 8th, thus Shohei was able to pitch through the final three outs, which helped Ohtani clinch his 8th wins of the season. Ha, ha, ha, I’m getting more confused by the minute. Is it real what one man can do in a game? Even in the fairly tale of Hollywood makings, it is too good to be true.
It’s really sad that once again the Angels will waste two of the greatest talents in the sport. I want to see Trout and Ohtani in the playoffs.

Ohtani was two of the three top players of the game. Has that ever happened before?
Ohtani has evolved into a better pitcher this season. He made adjustments to pitch more efficiently, deeper & fewer walks. Fewer Ks but better pitching. His game is still improving & that’s what makes him a Great once in a Century MLB player.
Ohtani is a future MVP im not sure he will be on the Angels though

For the first 2 innings or so Shohei didn’t seem to be having his night, so I was kinda worried but then he bounces back and makes the night the best one he’s had this year. What a man.
