amazing garden makeover with magical water features on a budget. amazing water feature’s with whirlpools & waterfalls using cement & blanket to create fake stone on a Low budget , diy garden ideas . Low budget garden makeover from dark & dingy shady area to a more vibrant & colourful array of plants & the sound of water encouraging nature into your garden. The garden is made from old clothes & blankets dipped in a runny cement solution then left to go hard. Also used were old milk cartons coffee jars & even cardboard. The finished cost was 4 bags of cement only £20 all other materials like led’s i had laying around. More creative video’s coming soon thanks for watching.

    This is really cool and innovatove. Just warning you that you should actually remove all the plant stuff, drain the whole thing and allow to dry, then spray with a rubberized/sealant waterproofing pain because concrete actually absorbs moisture and this whole thing will fall apart when it freezes in the winter. I saw you used metal mesh for some areas, which helps a little, but since you actually didn’t bond the metal with the cement (due to the fact that you soaked cloth with cement) the wire will not prevent cracking and this indeed will crack due to temperature changes, hence why I suggest a sealant. Looks pretty cool and will prolly last this season, but there might be leakage here and there since cement is not a waterproof substance.

    BTW, what happened to your car/fishtank/pond project in your front yard? That was such a cool concept.
